A Lady I know, who is a DOMME and a mother, where chatting today.

Of course, many Dommes are also Mother's ... and deserve the Best on Mother's Day! (As well as every day)

My friend said her children would only call on the phone Sunday. They live out west, over 1500 miles, and I felt bad for Her. But they are adults and have separate lives.

So would You care to share Your Mothers Day story? The lines are open!

Thank you for the Mother's Day wish.

I'm also in the position of them being grown and it will definitely be phone calls. The distance is absolutely too much. I'm in AK. My daughter is in GA and My son is in TX.

(I just hope they remember the time difference.)

Eight years ago on Mother's Day, my mom went to the hospital after having a massive stroke. She has since fully recovered, but every day around this time, I go to church with her or cook her dinner or something to commemorate the day. Today, we're getting mani-pedi's!

I got a text, inviting me to come over and do some grilling. My response was: that sounds wonderful, except that I dug up one tree that died and hurt myself. I'm staying home to nurse my wounds. I had no idea it was mothers day and an invitation because of that. Opps.

They could make my day... any day... if they came and dug up these other trees that died in the dry summer last year. But, lol that isn't happening. I am not even holding it against them.

I just want to hear... you may have sucked in some areas mom, but you were really great in others. I love you. Even better if they admitted that dad really sucked all the way around. Make my day! Hehehe

It's just another day to me actually. I got my thanks for all my hard work, in grand children and one that is just like me. Revenge is sweet. ROFL They can never forget me now!

Thank you for the Mothers' Day wishes. But, no Mothers' Day story here. I haven't heard from my son in ten years, it's been several months from my daughter. I'm not sure why.

OMG!!! I spoke too soon. My daughter called me and we talked a good half hour. It was catch up time. I'm a birthmother and she said "I called you first because you were there first." She's so funny. I told her "Don't tell your adopted mom you called me first, you don't want to hurt her feelings."

That is very sweet of her. And sweet of you to worry about the BM's feelings.

My son was supposed to get up and come to church with me. That didn't happen. So I came home, made potato salad and sausage and peppers. Then called him and told him I wanted him to come to dinner. He was a bit of a jerk about it. So then I texted his girlfriend (who was at work), and told her I was disappointed he didn't get up to spend the day with me, that I cooked (she really doesn't cook, but loves my food), and that I really wanted them to come for dinner. So they came for dinner and then asked me to watch my granddaughter (which is typical, stop by, spend a couple minutes then ask if I will watch the baby).

He did put the message "happy mother's day" on his facebook page. Of course he refuses to friend me, so I only found it because I regularly pop over to see what he's up to, lol.

All in all, not a bad day.

It was a very nice day, in that the little and cousin kept asking what they could do for me. They made me tea, microwaved dinner, I called my mom, and sisters. Brothers, and some friends called or texted wishing Happy Mother's day.
A happy day through, and through. M

Both my kids called.

I got french toast and bacon cooked for me and did whatever I felt like with the confines of this bloody cast. Basically, it was like any other weekend.

I actually am the BM, I didn't want her to hurt her adopted mom's feelings.

My son worked a double shift and felt terrible about not spending any time with me.
My daughter cooked breakfast, and miracle of miracles, she even washed up afterwards.

She cooks but she seems to be allergic to putting dishes in the dishwasher.

And then she went back to studying for finals.

Of course I know that. The only explanation I have is that it was late and I was tired, so I couldn't figure out which was which. So change it to AM and it is still the same being sweet.

I reminded my oldest twice by text that he needed to get ahold of me...I didn't send the first one until after 1 pm.
My daughter texted me around 10 in the morning and that's all I heard from her all day.
My littlest one however made sure coffee was ready when I woke up, there was a card on my keyboard when I sat at my computer and I got tons of cuddles as I sipped my morning coffee ...from of course, my favorite child ;)
In the evening we went to Applebees for dinner.
Mr didn't even remember to email me until late at night (He is still out of town on His trip) and I was too tired and pouty to respond...if I had it would have been snippy so I just left it alone.

The big two are fired. Mr is fired. Short Pants won hero of the day ;)
