The first, because the animators got paid. many on the second film got screwed.
If in order to save 100 innocent people, one of which was a doctor who was the only person who could save a medically-challenged person who was VERY important to you, you had to make a choice between 2 supervillains to live or die like the choice of Barrabas and Jesus,
but the moment you made the choice, all 100 innocent people would live,
who would you choose to live, and who to die?
(yes, we will risk being sexist here and state for the records that few women on this thread will recognize even 10% of the names below...)
