Status: offline 		I'm excited to be here. I joined the main site to find a partner; but I joined the forums to learn, meet new people, and perhaps add my own perspective to the discussion.

I am a 23 year old dominant with limited but not inconsequential experience. I am far more interested in domination than sadism, though I could eventually explore my sadistic side further if that was an interest of my future partner. I'd much rather use a leash (or better yet, that certain piercing way of looking at a sub) than a whip any day though.

My favorite hobbies include history, strategy games, and competition of any kind.

I'd appreciate any feedback, positive or negative, about my profile. I would like to present the best image I can while still remaining true to my desires and personality. Thank you very much in advance for anyone who takes a look.

Status: offline 		Wow. I just read your profile and it's as sharp and easily understood as your intro. No stupid fantasies, nothing unreasonable, no attempts to mislead. Clean, direct, and honest. You make it clear that you understand the difference between bedroom domination and out-of-bedroom domination (some wannabees don't), and that you want both. You're atheist/agnostic, yet are open to other religions - I like that tolerance.

The only suggestion is for your intro, not your profile. You're thinking of sadism as a form of controlling a sub. It's simply an appreciation of pain play. Someone who enjoys the use of pain as a control mechanism would scare me.

Status: offline 		Greetings and welcome Sly to both Collarme and the forums.....and yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! very nice intro some do have a clue. Sorry if you stick around you will understand that as time goes on.

Profile to me looks good but I would loss the yellow back ground its hard on the eyes.

There is a great bunch of peeps on this side with some awesome knowledge about WIITWD. Some tend to be brutaly honest so at times a thick skin maybe needed. Hope you enjoy your time here and best of luck in finding that in which you seek.

Status: offline 		Everyone's kind words are much appreciated. I'm glad that it doesn't seem like my not having a profile pic is too great a disadvantage, though I know its certainly not ideal. I really would prefer not to have one unless absolutely necessary since its better that my employer, clients, and family (parents and sibling) not be fully aware of my preferences.

DarkSteven: I may have been stretching my simile a bit, though I'll be the first to admit that I know little about s/m. Your point is well-taken.

Rasciallymisty: I have lurked on the forums for a few days, so I can see what you are saying. Unfortunately, I don't think CM is much different in that regard (though perhaps more extreme) than much of the internet these days. Its what anonymity can bring out of some people. But I also see quite a bit of knowledge and helpfulness from certain users, and I have no problem with constructive criticism.
