Hello everyone. I have puttered around CM off and on for a few years, under different usernames, but never spent much time on the forum side. I have really been missing out on some great information and some witty people. I am here mostly to learn and to take part in discussions with like minded people. If I meet someone special, that's just the icing on the cake.

Welcome. Sounds like you'll fit right into the "take part in discussions with like minded people."

Cool!

I lived in Yarmouth, Maine for 20 months. Are you in the Portland area, the UN area, or up north?

I'm in the central part, near the capital. Yarmouth is about 45 minutes down the pike from here. Yarmouth is a lovely area, though.

Greetings and welcome to the forums. Brad and I had a home in South Paris ME, loved it and hated selling it. Glad you finally decided to join us. Look forward to your post.

It seems that a lot of people come and go to the Pine Tree State. I was born here, and my family has been here since the 1700's. I've travelled to many places around the US and Europe, but can't imagine living anywhere else. Except during black fly season. I could definitely live somewhere else during black fly season...which is, like, now.

LOL we lived up on Kinghill and the black flies and ticks where unbelieveable. We actual have these net outfits that we would wear in the early part of May when out doing yard work. If I had my way I would be living in Maine also, but my home is where my kids are. Loved the winters there, we use to have a guy up the road come down with his front loader to clean our drive way out. You really do have your cake and can eat it too.
