That cat isn't giving the dog a massage. Kitty is saying, "WAKE UP AND PLAY WITH ME!"

Actually, kitty is self-soothing w/the kind of "pawing" necessary to stimulate milk letdown in momma cat, but I'm guessing you were just being playful, yes?

That kitty gives a great massage. I wouldn't mind him/her kneading my shoulders that way! My baby-kitteh Jazz likes to knead on me with his super long legs before he settles down to sleep. Sometimes I can position the soles of my feet so I get a really good massage from him :-)

Yes, I know what the kitty is doing. It's an artifact of being weaned too early.
