$39.00 for headlamp restoration at the car wash.
$29.00 for do it yourself headlamp restoration kit at auto parts store.
$1.98 for a small tube of toothpaste and less than 10 minutes work. Wet rag, copious amounts of toothpaste, rub in circles, rinse.

We have no full service car washes close by. I was in a hurry and grabbed some toothpaste because I didn't know where my rubbing compound was. Worked like a charm.

Or $14.95 for a Novus Plastic Restoration kit good for several dozen headlights.

What can I say, it was on hand for taking care of scratches on the motorcycle windshield.

Isn't it amazing how well a little bit of fine abrasive applied with some elbow grease is.
