wiermen -> Experience here! (5/18/2013 12:50:06 AM)

As an older guy without a photo, I find it very hard connecting here.
I appreciate that my attractions are very modest.
What I find distressing on here are the deleted messages I get.
I have been suspended twice in a year, presumably for bulk deletions.
I don't blame the system at all.
I'm just rather sad that a brief ,polite no thanks seems to be beyond a lot of people.
Perhaps my generation are just too formal!!

DarkSteven -> RE: Experience here! (5/18/2013 12:53:11 AM)

I'll give you two hints.

1. You don't read rules. This forum is specifically for people who wish to describe how they successfully met a match through cm.
2. Your profile begins by saying that you're looking for younger women because you don't like the ugly women your age.

LadyPact -> RE: Experience here! (5/18/2013 1:23:58 AM)

Is it just something about late night Fridays that bring out all of the folks who don't know how the forums work?

Rasciallymisty -> RE: Experience here! (5/18/2013 5:59:45 AM)

There are a bunch of unicorns over yonder did you look there???

FYI ....if you send a bunch of spam mail, then NO women are not going to take the time to say no thank you!!!! You did not take the time to write each one individual, so why would they??? Plus young women have their pick from Dom's who take the time to get to know them. LOL and here you are telling all how you have been kicked from the site twice because you can't follow rules...yuppers you are just the catch of the day aren't you???

That's the formality of the older generation, right there.

DesFIP -> RE: Experience here! (5/18/2013 7:04:04 AM)

Nobody asked you to send them come ons. Or do you also expect women on the street to formally thank you for whistling at them? Do you call up credit card companies and say thanks but no thanks for the offer of a card? Same thing.

Beyond that, if someone said 'thanks but no thanks, you're way too old' I'm betting you would send back a snotty note like "You're too fat to fuck cunt". Because that's the common response from rejected guys with entitlement issues.

sunshinemiss -> RE: Experience here! (5/18/2013 7:25:38 AM)

Sadly, I"m an aging, semi obese woman, much too ugly to be chosen by a gem such as yourself. I'm heart broken. Stricken with grief even. How ever shall I cope?

On a more honest note, I'm a strong, passionate woman in my mid 40s, average sized, full of charm, intellect, compassion, and decency (note the Oxford comma). I am looking for a man of decency who is worthy of me.

Here is why *I* would not respond to your email (if you were to venture to send a note to me)... (written 8/5/12 - you can see it in my journal)

You know what? When a dude wolf whistles at me, I don't usually respond then either. Is it offensive what you write? YES And you want to know why? I've spent time on my profile. I started the conversation by saying, 'Hey folks, here is the kind of person I am. I'm XY and Z. I like AB and C. I live here and there, This is how I think.' I have expressed myself with great clarity and (I think) wit. Maybe a little charm on a good day. And your response to all that is, 'Hello. Are you still looking for a X?' You know what I think about men like that? THEY ARE NOT SMART ENOUGH FOR ME. So, yes, your notes are offensive. They offend my intelligence. They offend the decent and kind human being I am by turning me into nothing but a slot filler. I'm no slot filler. Your inane letters are merely searches for slot fillers. Go buy a damn blow-up doll I am an amazing, beautiful, successful, brilliant, fascinating woman. I have better things to do than to answer trite nonsense. YOU DON'T DESERVE ME.

Why would I waste my time writing to you?

So, now you know ... with your old fashioned formality... why you are a waste of time for any woman with even a smidgeon of self-respect.

good luck,
sunshine

You haven't been suspended for bulk deletions, rather because you've been spamming people. So stop sending out numerous identical emails, problem solved.

Women are deleting your messages because they're not interested in you. They can see your message by hovering their mouse over it, and they aren't interested, so they delete it. That isn't impolite, it wasn't solicited mail anyway. If any of them have gone to your profile I'm sure that's what turned them off. You're a fantasy driven married older man interested in women that have better offers.

Couldn't say it better, he answers his own questions. I'm surprised he doesn't get dozens of messages a day [:D].

garyFLR -> RE: Experience here! (5/18/2013 9:08:31 AM)

I'll make this my last entry on this topic. I could quote everybody who's contributed in answer to this buffoon.
He puts my teeth on edge, I'm surprised he's lived so long. He deserves exactly what he gets, which is nowhere.

Dude, women do not like copypasta. There's a couple groups over at FL dedicated to ripping apart guys who do this. I'm going to venture that some of your missives have already been chuckled at over there (as many are ID'd as coming from CM).

I read your profile, and when you start out by slamming a sub-set of women, you turn all of them off to you. Everything in your profile is "I,I,I," Women don't want to hear that. You allude to being able to "sniff out scammers", and I'm not surprised you get reverse-bombed by them. You want my honest opinion? You come off as a desperate, spoiled, entitled, elitist, self-centered jerk.

There's nothing wrong with wanting a certain type of partner, but man, you are doing it all wrong by cutting down other types. And stating openly you shotgun copypasta right in your profile all but guarantees a pass on their end. And triggering bulk mail alert means most don't even read it, just delete it on the spot. But you can correct it. Here's how:

Close out and delete your profile. Take a break from the search for awhile, at least a week or two, preferably a month. Sit yourself down with some real scene-related reading material (see Resident Sadist's book list), and mold your new profile to reflect what you want, in a non-confrontational manner. Relax, be patient and thoughtful in what you say and write.

Read the profiles of the women who interest you fully before sending a request. Respect their wishes. Don't get angry when they turn you down, instead, learn something with each exchange. Be polite and take the high road, rather than gnashing your teeth. You have to remember that these are social networks, an electronic white-picket fence as it were, and women talk to each other. Chances are very high that you're already known to many before you send your first message, and that assures that your attempt fails instantly.

If you don't like what I have to say, tough. It's the way of the world here. If you think throwing shit against the wall and seeing what sticks will get you what you want, you're sadly mistaken. All you get is a steaming mess that you have to clean up. I sincerely wish you the best of luck in your quest, no matter what road you decide to travel to get there.

Rawni -> RE: Experience here! (5/18/2013 10:23:39 AM)

Old man’s disease. It is something like Little man’s disease. Unfortunate, but a fact, that some people do not find worth within and must struggle with what they perceive as how society views them and feel that they are lacking. They suffer thoughts of how they don’t measure up and will compensate for their short comings, going to great lengths to appear to be just like everyone else. Due to the fact that they don’t feel accepted, and though they struggle to be like everyone else, they really dislike everyone else for not accepting them. The real shame of all the pain and suffering that comes as a result of Little man’s or Old man’s disease, is that no one else in the beginning, is thinking of the person as they think of themselves and the pain was for nothing. A useless delusion.

The difference between Little man’s disease and Old man’s disease is that the older gentlemen feel a great rush to find what they seek because they know that time is short. This creates a panic when society doesn’t respond to them in the manner for which they believe they should be received, their anger and panic grow and as it does, it manifests in excessive attempts to gain that of which they seek. As the attempts accelerate, so does their blood pressure and it can become a serious medical situation, causing them to look even older than they are, gain weight from stress or eating and unnecessarily risk their health. To put it mildly, they age faster than they would had they not given in to Old man’s disease. The manifestation of the symptoms of Old man’s disease are easily noticed, which causes others in society to either laugh at them or run, which has a more powerful effect upon the poor, confused and soon to be disabled soul that suffers with the self induced, chronic condition of Old man’s disease.

So while other people reject the sufferer, the offended will also rebuff them. It becomes a vicious cycle for which the self abused older man, in the later manifestations of symptoms, comes to either hate or enjoy humiliating himself, as he rants about how cruel the world is, how ugly everything in it is and how he simply cannot understand why people treat him as they do. After this stage of symptom revelation, the sufferer could in fact suffer from excessive masturbation to the point of whittling themselves into a limp stump, as they continue to feed themselves the humiliating facts and unfairness of it all.

Though some suffers survive, it tends to be a chronic condition for which they rarely seek help, though a small percentage publicly rage against their chronic situation, blaming others or seeking humiliation. Some of the later symptoms of this very serious and disabling condition are raging against what they are afraid of becoming. Old and fat. Fault finding in others seems to be a manifestation of a self comforting measure, that never quite comforts and the acceleration of these symptoms in all their ugliness serves to further debilitate the person with Old man’s disease.

You can't see it but I'm giving you a standing ovation. I've said the same thing numerous times in my profile and journal and yet...I still get inane one liners of "your pretty". Two whole words and one of them is still misspelled. After all that I say in my profile that seems to be all they can come up with to impress me. smdh

Yay you Sunshine! Loved this post!

I'm short AND old and I've met several people from here. I guess I'm doing it wrong according to the OP.

girlandherDaddy -> RE: Experience here! (5/18/2013 1:30:41 PM)

Not only is he spamming but he sent an email to me more or less stating that he can tolerate people with other beliefs than himself and then goes on a totally unsolicetd tyrade, pissing all over my cheerios, on how my lifestyle doesn't fit his and how my beliefs are wrong. Let's just say that i "kindly" told him that the only reason i looked at his profile was because he wrote in a forum and that he apparently didn't take the advice he was given. Yes, i did call him a jackass and a hypocryte before i blocked sender.
