Whatever the relationship was between Lennon and Ono, she went out of her way to make sure he had no relationship with his son from his first marriage and did her best to try to have him left totally out of the will. As a parent, that's unforgivable.

If I was living in the Universe of the movie and everything was cream and peaches I'd sit inside my house and pick off folks getting within 100 yards of my house because hey it's fricking purge time, you don't need to be out of your house near my house. In this world, well.... I am a man bound by the rule of law and do so only as the rule of law allows. Give me a free hand for twelve hours by law, I'd put on my atheist hat and play like I have no soul (because atheists have no soul or reason to fear karma or an afterlife) against those who I have deemed to threaten my way of life.

in the preview, it was the town/city versus one guy. So I am going to guess its a regional thing with each place picking their own "winner" for that year. Not to mention I would guess the target has some sporting chance, so it lasts the whole night. Would suck for that "purge" if they killed him in the first 20 minutes

Off the top of my head I can't think of anything. I can't bring myself to squish a bug so there's no chance I'd be able to bring myself to do something nasty to someone else. At best I'd defend my family but in reality I suspect my role in this would be 'victim'.

I suppose (and it's very mild) I'd go somewhere that the public weren't generally allowed. Some precious historic site or something that people who don't work for National Geographic wouldn't ever get to see. But that might involve quite a bit of forward planning that would probably be difficult in the run up to the big event.
