What I wear is a small, wire tattoo collar.  Those are innerlinked enough to suggest chain, but is very light and comfortable to wear.  Also, it can be worn without explanation.

Also, a rope choker with shells is fashionable now (Panama Jack), so you might try that.

Wow! Nice Collars!
I wrote those sites down for later use.
I need to find a sub who wants to become a slave first.

http://www.axsmar.com/  The "Talena" range looks both comfortable to wear and discrete.

One thing I would like to remind you is that a collar does not have to be something around your neck. It doesn't have to be a restraining device. It can be anything, a ring, a bracelet, a necklace. It more represents the relationship between you and your master, and the power he holds. The knowledge that you and he are aware of this item, also makes it more special. Though it would be nice for it to be something somehow bdsm involved, I think it's more the personal value of it, and what it means, than the physical atribbutes of it.

My boy wore a very simple twisted wire collar, which had a clasp in the back that held a small padlock.  He was a young skater-type, so even if the lock showed, it could easily have been written off as a fashion statement. It was very attractive.

I have My slave wear a rawhide twisted bracelet as it looks like something a male would wear and also he cant take it off without breaking it, as I tied it on wet and it dried  with the knot too hard to pick. I had one wear a small dog collar on his ankle because he wore suits and it was a constant battle for him to keep it hidden from colleagues and he enjoyed knowing it was there and the fact that I didnt care who saw it...lol.

Whatever style you choose, remember it is a public collar because it is symbolic. Most Slaves I know do not wear functional locking collars in public; they have discreet lockets or chains that symbolize their commitment. Choose it together, make a ritual out of it, make it important, and you both will be happy.

I wear a axsmar cuff bangle on my right wrist. She ordered it with a permanent lock and placed it on me 9-15-08. I find the craftsmanship great and well worth the money. No one knows it is permanent and so far no one has asked. For me it is a great alternative to a collar.

I am a big fan of these collars for everyday public wear
