defiantbadgirl -> avatars (5/23/2013 5:35:17 PM)

I used to love creating yahoo avatars and using them in my messenger window. A couple of months ago, yahoo discontinued avatars. I know there are other sites where avatars can be created, but I'm looking for a good one that doesn't require me to download spyware/adware/viruses. By good, I mean choosing face, eyecolor, and a good selection of hairstyles, clothing, backgrounds, etc. basically similar to what yahoo had. Does anyone know of a good avatar website that fits my description?

I don't know about avatars, but there used to be sites where you could submit a photo of yourself and it would be converted to a cartoon. I remember years ago everyone on MySpace was doing it. There was one where your pic would be converted to Simpsons cartoon style, etc.
Kind of fun...

I'm looking for an avatar that I can create and customize, not so much a cartoon of myself. I love creating avatars. When yahoo had avatars, I created a bride when I was getting married, holiday avatars, seasonal avatars, I even had an avatar dressed like a mistress standing in a dungeon background with a skeleton chained to the stone wall. Is there ANY way to do that now without getting spyware, adware, and viruses?

everything on the internet is a roll of the dice. Even coming here doesn't necessarily protect you from getting viruses. Checking your email definitely does not protect you.
