Okay, so the Obama Administration is beset by woes at every turn. No one's truly tackling the nation's fiscal travails. God only knows what;s gonna happen with our climate,. And my health is imploding.

But hey, I'm not worrying about any of that tonight because ...

There's a new girl in town.
Namely, Bozie the elephant.
Who may also turn out to be a cougar. [:)]

Great story, DC. Thanks for posting.

The zoo in Portland had (and may still have) a really good elephant program. I made it out for one of the newborns, who was on view at a few days old. He was incredibly cute, but the faces of the women in the crowd were flipping hilarious, when they would hear the birth weight was 300 lbs.
