Takes 30 days to be sure pot won't show up in urine samples.
But I'd have gone straight to filing blackmail charges with the police. After notifying my attorney.

One good thing about a small town, one town judge is my attorney, the other is my next door neighbor. They've known me for years and know I'm not a troublemaker.

He called CPS last week, evidently, either thursday or friday, cause we got a visit this evening at 6PM.

After talking with a few legal beagles, I am filing harassment charges tomorrow, and since he is on disability and runs a business under the table, I will be notifying Social Security about his little earnings discrepancy.

I have gotten on a web page that allows me to track his cell phone location, just to humor my sick sense of justice, and day dream about stalking him with a sniper rifle...

No, I would not kill him, but he weighs about 340, and wears pants that are a 60 waist. I was wishing he would give me cause to put a round through one of his knee caps. Since he does not carry weapons, I could not justify killing him, but incapacitating him in such a way that would be a crippling injury, since no surgeon would perform a knee replacement unless he loses a lot of weight.

If I thought the threat was viable, there'd be no second chance. I would set the legal wheels in motion, immediately.

I also have a bunch of family in the "Irish Mafia" and I'd have a couple of them just happen to bump into this guy and give him a friendly little warning (and I mean friendly); something along the lines of: "Ya know, Michael's a decent guy with a good reputation and you might not want to threaten him too much because it could come back to bite you on the ass. Oh, and his lawyer's nickname is Torquemada."

Peace and comfort,

Michael

This thread is just sounding like one person who KNOWS what they should have done and what they should do but instead has taken it to a public forum to posture and bluster all his bravado about taking things to a violent means. You're a grown-up, act like it even if the other person isn't. Document, document, document. File charges. You know this and you know better so knock off the games already. Secondly, everyone here is playing a one-up game of ohhhh my attorney is a DA. Oh yeah, mine's a judge! And He I got LEOs in the fam. Oh yeah, well I got the mafia. Put the big people pants on people and stop stupid show and tell. I could say anything - Oh I got mafia in the irish and italian side and I got cops in the fam, and oh by the way my uncle is the president - who cares. It's an online forum with an inability for much of what is said to be backed up and no one cares who your damn neighbor is.

And so you realize this - you are posting on a public forum. You have released your reasonable right to privacy. Your conversations can be monitored by cyber crime units and if - if anything - just if, anything happens to this putz you have just layered so much admissible evidence at his feet.

Not connected to the Irish Mafia, but do have a lot of friends who are bikers, and many of them belong to various clubs with not so clean reputations. A few have already asked if I would like this person visited.

I can skip a few days of meds and come over to re-educate someone, Jeff...

Tell him that you will pray for his soul.

Criminal charges have been filed, local landlord's association has a report on the individual, Craigslist has a rant concerning his treatment of "friends", posted a facebook warning about his actions (we share a lot of mutual friends) as well as warnings on a couple of other social networking sites.

The results of the social networking effort has been that everyone he has asked if he could stay with outside of his family have told him no way in hell.

as for apartments, his only options at this point are the less than standard complexes that are noted for drug raids, three or four police calls a night, and some mild to moderate structural problems.
