Something got me wondering on the thread that is now threadlocked in the discussion forums.

Reminder, by Mod11. Just out of curiosity, how many mods are there and just who are you guys anyway? I'm guessing there are at least 11 mods? Why does it seem only Mod1, 3 and 11 post?

Just curious is all. I don't mean to offend any of the mods here.

Please, no Mod bashing in replies. They do their best to keep this site running smoothly, and I'm tired of seeing flames erupt over moderation in pretty much any forum I am on.

I've learned that your best off just biting your tongue when it comes to any kind of questions regarding the moderators or how they go about moderating. Your questions will either go unanswered anyway or the thread will get locked.
I guess we're supposed to just sit back and figure it out for ourselves.
Collarme forums have a general unspoken rule that we're not supposed to question authority and we just have to live by that and talk about something else.

I don't know for sure but I think some of the mods work on the forum boards, some work on the approval process for the profiles and some approve or deny the pics on the other side... So my guess would be that the ones you see post here are most likely the ones that moderate the message boards... the others may post as well, only not under the moderator status....

insofar as anything is real...........

Mods are Mods, admins are admins, picture approvers are piciture approvers and within those areas of specialization are others, and often as is the case in a "I'll do it" place such as this, there may be differences among the factions, but everybodies heart is really in the right place.

Well, I did a profile search for Moderator, and 13 results returned, but the highest numbered Mod was 15. So, somewhere between 13 and 15?
