There are many practicing families whos size would be concidered commune material based off of how the houses are run.
My homes have been called communes in the US in the past untill the government tides of opionions have changed and We are forced to use different words to discribe a happy place and group of folks practicing together, like minded lifes. Thats why My main Home is Outside of the US presently.
And trust Me even mention of anything remotely close to being anything against the law will gain your home a monthly barrage of breaking and entering to try and * catch * you doing something wrong. You will not desire to have Yourself become known as a Cult or Commune here in todays times. Even Our Public Dungeons where all in a community gather are not called or licenced as such but as a Acting Theatre in order to run and stay open under the partially truthful partially false guise of being ART instead of Lifestyle. you got your passport and ready to fly worktomuch? I don't think I need a whole commune. I'd merely settle for a 24/7 job as a cabana boy for a rich woman who needed help at Her mansion. I could foment palace intrigues against the other slaves, and then wait for the inevitable punishment.

Hey, if you're gonna dream, dream big! [:D]

(Quick reply) Thank you everyone for making such interesting points. I have been reading and will be keeping this stuff in mind. Especially proprietrix made very good food for thought in this discussion, a lot of which I had actually already thought about, and in cases even planned for and actively experimented with in my case. But more thought and planning -- as well as walking this step by step is very useful to success, especially to make sure that all is done properly :).  And yes, of course setting up anything that involves more than 2 or 3 people is going to be a logistical nightmare.
