all this talk of coffee is going to kill me.

Master's on the warpath to cut my coffee again.

HELP!

Oh my! If I hadn't thought he was wicked already, this surely would have convinced me! That's down right cruel.

I've never enjoyed black coffee unless doused with milk and sugar.
Since summer is (supposed to be) here soon, I'll have to try some of these recipes. Sure would be nice to cut that expense down!

Nice to see him stepping up and doing the right thing for a change. With your health issues; caffeine, sugar and the empty calories of those coffee drinks are just about the last thing you should be drinking on any regular basis.

He made me stop before but I just started a new job a couple of months ago and I get up at 5am and it kills me so he allowed me to have coffee now but he wants to stop drinking coffee himself so his view if he is stopping so am I. ggggggrrrrrr

How the hell am I gonna wake up with no coffee?? hhrrmmpphh

Oh and it's not finally doing something...he's been getting on my case almost daily about my health because I try to ignore it and it will go away. He's pretty frustrated with me these days about it so I've been trying to be better about it with him.

I'm just not used to thinking about my own health having been a single mother. It's still something I'm trying to get used to.

Sorry, I owe you an apology. That was a little harsh.

Well, is it really the coffee that wakes you up or is it the hot drink?

What about green tea? It's better for you.

I drink Arizona diet green tea with ginseng and honey extract (sweetened with Splenda) when I get up. My doctors keep going after me about caffeine but that is what my weekly Diet MD is for...when I go shopping I get a 20 oz. bottle.

I can't tolerate straight coffee. I'm primarily a tea drinker, but when I want something stronger, I mix half coffee with half Teeccino. I love the flavored varieties, but they also carry unflavored (Java, French Roast). They don't charge for shipping for the sample packs. I recently got the Chocolate Flavors Sampler and am loving the raspberry and mint.

Teeccino had to move their production facility and some products are out of stock on Teeccino.com. I buy from Amazon anyway, as I get free shipping with Prime, or on iHerb, where I get free shipping with $40, easy for me as I buy supplements and shampoo there.

http://teeccino.com/about/73/Herbal-Tea-%26amp;-Herbal-Coffee:-Their-Origins.html

...When the 1990's came along and coffee bars were being opened everywhere, Caroline was inspired to create Teeccino, a new herbal beverage that brews, looks and tastes like coffee although it's made from naturally caffeine-free herbs. In the beginning, she called Teeccino an “herbal espresso” because she began brewing it in an espresso machine, but finally, it dawned on her that everyone wanted to brew Teeccino whichever way they preferred to brew coffee. Of course, she realized, Teeccino is herbal coffee! It was one of those things that after you say it, it's so obvious, you wonder what took you so long.

Both tea and coffee contain caffeine, a drug that triggers the body’s stress response called the “flight or fight” syndrome. Too much caffeine can aggravate stress and many other health conditions whose symptoms are made worse from caffeine consumption. Herbal beverages offer a wide variety of healthful properties without any caffeine so they can be drunk any time of the day and as much as you like!
