Her account is http://www.collarme.com/bdsm/v/303383/details.htm

In what way does this photo of my girlfriend (she submitted it as her primary photo) not fall within the "community standards?"

quote:

No commercial photos or artwork - Only pictures you took yourself.
No extreme or vulgar pictures.
No explicit genital nudity.
No objects or places for your primary photo.
We cannot approve photos containing persons in bondage at this time.
Persons who appear underage will be asked to furnish proof of age.

I wasnt sure where to post this, since theres no area designated for site/forum issues and offtopic, being a universal catchall, seemed the least incorrect place.

Hmm. The only thing I can see is she is youngish looking. Maybe someone with the site can clarify that; if it is the case, supply them with proof of her age, that might help.

she often does get comments on how young she looks, but i guarantee shes 21.  infact she's 3 months older than i am!  what sort of proof of age do they ask for?

she was pretty bummed about her picture being declined, she thought it was because of her cleavage.  but that wouldnt be it, theres full on naked folks in some of the profiles!

thats awfully risky to send to a stranger on the internet, it'd have to be censored to not show adress or DL number.

Yeah. Maybe send them a pic of her with her birthday cake, with the 21 candles clearly showing?

As innocent as they may be it could be because her body shows bruises, just a guess.

you have to be kidding me?  she bruises really easily because of her asthma medication!  if you grab her arm hard she'll get a light bruise from it.  i think her shoulder bruise was where she hit it on her car when changing the oil.

I agree with Level, it's because she is very young looking.  Since any photo that is rejected comes with a notice that they will not overturn the review team's decision, she will have to submit a different photo.  Considering her appearance, I'd try one that is more glamorous...ie, hair and makeup.  It would make her look older.

i understand they wont overturn, but she doesnt wear makeup at all, either due to her sensitivity to some chemicals/compounds or due to well...she just doesnt.  she always looks as she does in that picture.  she's a real laidback kind of girl, always jeans and shirt, no heels, dresses, or skirts.  she'd rather install a header than do her hair!

if a censored scan of her DL would have that pic approved, that would be acceptable. shes not going to get all whored up for a picture tho.

maybe i'm used to seeing her for a year, but she doesnt look underage to me and never did look underage.

Put a pic ID on your pc, whiteout any potentially damaging info, and send that sucker in.

And hell, Huzudra, you're her dom, don't give her the option of dressing up to look older, at least for the new pic.

Well, then...unless she finds a way to make herself look older, she won't have her picture posted.  She looks like a minor and we all know that we can't discuss minors according to the TOS.  They certainly won't post the picture of someone that looks like a minor.

If it's that important, then I suggest the local glamour photographer.  Having hair done and and at very least eye makeup and lipstick for a little while shouldn't be too bad.  She has pretty skin, she doesn't need a foundation makeup.  Smoky eyes, darker lips and a sophisticated hairstyle should do the trick.

i'll get a scan of her DL and photoshop that into the original picture and re-submit.

her wardrobe is upto her, i dont care about trivial little things like that at all.

i honestly dont see how she looks like a minor tho, what part of her does?  i just dont see it.

She has a very young face.

And I realize you may consider her style of dress trivial, generally I do as well, but you're trying to find a way to get her pic on this site, and feastie's idea of making her over to look older is an easy way to do so.

Well, maybe you have to be old like Level and me to see it...
*grins and ducks*
Honestly, she looks like she's 15.  I have a 14 year old, I know what they look like.  I also know what makeup makes her look like. (Now that is frightening, geeeeez).  She just doesn't have a mature look about her.

There's nothing wrong with the way she looks, but different clothes, different hair and a little makeup would help her look older.  I looked young most of my life, even with hair and makeup.  I was carded at the movies well into my twenties and carded for drinks until then too.  My youngest sister (six years my junior) was often (and still is) thought to be the eldest when we were together.  How mortifying to have your father's friends think she was the 18-year-old when she was the 12-year-old!

Brightspots' assumption is correct. It is the bruises. I have had countless piks rejected because they showed either a couple of bruises or a series of neatly parallel welts on my rump.

They have exacting standards, at least, that's something.

so because she got bruised doing yardwork her picture wont be taken?  what the hell kind of crap is that?  thats the absolutely most retarded thing i've ever heard of!  what if those arent bruises but birthmarks?  what if someone has a naturally dark patch of skin?  thats just some crap there, thats what that is.

My standards are exacting as well, and the photos you describe would be highly valued.  Purely for artistic reasons, of course...

Just put her in a different shirt that hide the bruise. I've seen profile pics here that could easily pass for middle school kids.
