I received a message from someone claiming that they are "The couple that runs CollarMe", and that they took over CM from the previous owner 11 months ago. Was there a change in ownership that I'm unaware of, or is it just some jerk talking crap?

@LP - Yeah, I know. They are claiming that this is their personal profile that they use to speak with people on a personal basis, and not as mods. Oh trust me, I don't believe it, but I'm trying to find out if I'm wrong, and there was a change on the site that I was unaware of.

I am also pretty sure that if the MODS have a personal profile, they would in no way ever let someone know they were a MOD. Could you imagine the shit they would get? MODS have to make some tough decisions, and they are not always popular, so I just can not see them advertising on their personal screen names they are mods. As a recipient of a few gold mails myself, not one has ever made any personal claims of ownership of the site, so if they wouldn't as a MOD, why in hell as a personal member? Just saying.

I don't think they would go round telling each individual member, even if they had taken the site over. A others have said here, Site messages/ Gold borders. There is something fishy about this, but you thought it was dodgy anyway, didn't you?
