This has been covered before. I know I will be sorry I made this post but here goes. Why do some feel the need to write somebody to tell them they need to loose weight? That if i loose weight then maybe somebody will listen to me.

Simply because they can. Many people will say things from behind a computer that they wouldn't say to someone's face.
Use the block and delete buttons and ignore their stupidity.

I laugh at people who are such cowards. Often times if you try to reply you find they've blocked you.

Unfortunately if you plan on using internet sites, you need to develop a thick skin. There are a lot of dolts out there.

That's really not much of a rant. I give it 1 out of 10. I would have given it 2 but not knowing the difference between "lose" and "loose" cost you a point. Sorry.

Whine would have probably worked but it would have cost you an extra letter.

Block, report, delete, move on with your life.

~FRing it~

I personally feel why the hell should it matter what some random jackass says to you in a message? Fuck 'em. They don't know you, so who cares what they think about something that pertains to you. Hover your mouse over the message and it gives you a bit of what they are saying without even opening the message. If they are being a rude little asshole, just click delete without even opening it. It will tell them on their end that the message was deleted unread. Easy peasy

Lighten up, Francis. It was a joke.

Sweet Jeebus, you're 56 years old. Does it really bother you what some random asshat sends you in email? Just ignore their stupidity and move on with your day.

I dunno. I feel the need to loose weight, but I dunno either how to go about that, except walking all across Europe without a dime - and I would find that very boring.

The other day there was a guy who told me that I was old, fat, bald and had a sexually transmitted disease. He was trying to get me angry or to hurt my feelings, but I do not get angry or hurt about truth. (Nor about untruths, as those do not apply to me.)

I know I should not let it bother me. Sometimes it does then get mad at myself that it does.

When you let what someone says affect you, you give them power over you. They say random bullshit like "loose weight fatty" or "oink" to get a reaction.

Do you think he/she is giving you or your feelings a second thought?

Why would you give power to some random Joe Blow on the net?

Block, delete and live well.

So are you gonna sit and stew over it, or are you gonna move on? Block em.

All right you can stew over their statements, and they win. You can block em, and they kinda win. You can blow em off as jerks, and forget about it, let karma take care of them, and you win.

OR:

You can figure out where they are posting from, track down their address, stake out the home and figure out their daily schedules, and when they are gone, pump 6000 gallons of liquified organic bovine produced fertilizer into the home.

People get pissy here for many reasons and feel entitled to rain on someone else's parade to make themselves feel better. Seriously, don't give it a second thought.

Because some people are intentionally being mean.
I agree with you that an overweight person already knows he or she is overweight, no need to dig in further.
