Here we are, the unconstitutional actions of the teabagging house should be investigated by a special prosecutor and everyone who voted in favor should be impeached and hung for treason.

Irony... You has it in spades.

You do not know what irony is obviously, it is a clear and present violation of the constitution.

Originality, you doesn't has it. Ever.

SadistDave -> RE: Teabaggers throw away the constitution (6/7/2013 8:32:43 PM)

It's is the exact same process used to push Obamacare through. The Democrat controlled Senate used Deem-and-Pass to bypass the House vote. Pelosi, who was Speaker of the House at the time used Deem and Pass instead of calling for a vote because there was no quarantee that the Dems would all march in lockstep to pass it.

It's fun to watch libs cry when their own dirty tricks get used against them.

I've said it before.

Why do so many of those who wish to preserve the First at all costs want to wipe their ass with the Second and vice versa?

what no one told you?

Congress is not required to pass constitutional law. Neither federal or state. They can push any damn thing they want through!

Now if you want to change it allz ya gottsta do is take your life savings and file a suit against them for violating your rights. Then the one branch of government that runs the joint will decide and toss you a few crumbs. Maybe. If not too fucking bad so sad you just wasted all your money.

Thats fair right? You know the troughers raping your ass and the only way you can do anything about it is vote the bastards out so the next crew can do worse! LMAO

vote em out man!

hows that workin for ya?

Uh, no.........new candidate for the stupidest thing ever said on the internet.

SadistDave -> RE: Teabaggers throw away the constitution (6/8/2013 11:10:32 PM)

ROFLMAO!

Wrong, yes. They abandoned the Deem and Pass at the end. Don't worry about my candidacy. The ridiculous tripe you post on a regular basis will assure you keep the title.

But thanks for the correction on the Deem and Pass bit. Sorry if I interrupted your little whine-fest here.

Was that a 30 day or a one year's 'quarantee'?

She probably tried to foist one of those "extended quarantee" things on them, for an extra $80, and the other Dems were not going to fall for it.

I live not far from the national CDC (walk or drive by it all the time), I think they have many extended quarantees available there.

I like the notion of extending an extended quarantee of the entire congress, though. The CDC has enough buildings for that, no question.

Hahahaha, I agree.

The idea of either a democrat or a republican accusing the other of trashing the constitution is just hilarious. Sure Ron, that move is obviously skeevy. These are not the actions of honorable men. But then again, we all know they are not honorable men and yet they get votes.

Honestly, while money shenanigans are obviously important the crap that Obama is doing on a daily basis to shred civil liberties is a bit more frightening to me. Orwell didn't go anywhere near far enough in his book and Obama is the architect of that (at least right now).

soo I guess we need to go back to 1930 when this first appeared and try allll those congressmen over the years for treason?

fact is its been used hundreds of times and has been UPHELD in court, and this is just you CRYING cause THIS TIME its being done by someone YOU DON'T LIKE!

Others point to a 2006 case before the United States District Court for the District of Columbia regarding the Deficit Reduction Act, which, in part, ruled in favor of the self-executing provision.[4][11] That ruling was upheld on appeal in 2007

the fact that you cannot post without using what you consider a degrading insult to the people doing it shown ALOT about you

WAAAAA he tackled me, well yeahh it was a clean hit, and welll yeahh I was in bounds, but I SKINNED MY KNEEEE! WAAAAAA

try this, do a web search for house deem an pass and you'll find SEVERAL article about how DEMS were going to use it to pass AHC and one lonely post from a website, that isn't even an ARTICLE, just a blog opinion, the one you linked

if its such a BIG DEAL, why then has no reputable news source decided to run this story?

This. Pretty much any political posting that includes pejoratives can be safely ignored. Adults operating in an adult mindset just don't speak like that. I live in a world of liberals and conservatives not freeloaders and teabaggers.

I'm the first to admit this whole "deeming" thing reeks to high heaven but which part of DC is that not true of? I'm pretty content to say that democrats and republicans politicians are both without honor.

Advise and consent is in the original constitution, a few years prior to 1930.

Perhaps a credible citation of this is in order, since it appears to be wholesale untutored asswipe.

Nope, not even in the universe of what we are talking about here. And not credibly cited in any case.  Deem and pass within the house, a rule for the house, but not a law for the land.
