This is what I do. I make a cup of instant coffee (I can't tell the difference in the iced drink), a cup would make about 3 cups of iced coffee, so I throw most of that out. Into a glass full of ice, I pour it one third full of my instant coffee, add either sugar free coffee flavoring syrup, which is $10 a bottle but makes 10-15 glasses of iced coffee, then fill it the rest of the way with almond milk, which is what I drink anyway. on rare occasions I splurge on a flavored refrigerated coffee creamer to use instead of the syrup. I know my drinks end up less than a dollar a glass, and I really enjoy them. I'm not worried about the health concerns either - cutting out artificial sweetener is for someone much further along in cutting out things, and the almond milk is naturally low fat, and high calcium. For a sweet treat, it's a rather good choice.
