OP, What is serious to you may not be serious to me, or anyone else. Or...it could be one of those questions that gets asked at least 2xs week so the regulars get tired of answering it over and over.

IF you want to find "disappointing" look in the mirror. You're 46 years old, and have to be told 1. Go talk to your lady to find out if you're on the right track. She's the only one who knows. 2. Don't get involved with people at work, and be uber cautious about talking about kink. You want different answers, you want lots of replies. Sorry, that's it and there's nothing to add. Typically there are a lot of replies when something is either controversial or is not obvious to anyone with a modicum of common sense or life experience. You needed someone to tell you this stuff.... at age 46? Seriously?

i have made some very serious posts and had little response and tongue in cheek ones with loads of responses, it all depends on the community as to what they find intresting

No one felt like responding to your other thread. Somehow they didn't feel compelled to discuss your topic, or didn't have much to say. Oh well, that's the breaks when you're online, no one here has to interact with you.

I went and looked at the two threads that you started, OP. The one on this board was geared to a very particular section of women and that may have discouraged people from answering. Had you taken that element out, you may have gotten more answers, even though it is a commonly asked question. Lots of folks come here asking if they should tell their vanilla partner that they are kinky, so it is a question that many of us have answered multiple times before. The other thread you created seems to be generating discussion. It's not a subject that is very popular for many in My opinion from reading the boards here, so I'm thinking that thread is getting a decent response considering that. Not every thread is going to get a lot of replies. What is important to you isn't necessarily going to be important to everybody else.

Whatever you don't do OP, don't mention SSC. That will get all the wrong kinds of attention on these boards. Then you can hang high in the trees, while the rest beat you like a Pinata. Sometimes, have no to little replys isn't such a bad thing. I'm sure I'll get ignored plenty of times in here from now on. Actually,now is a great time for me to start going to the Beach again.Summer in Florida.Easy choice there.I use to live literally 2 blocks from the Gulf of Mexico. Almost nothing could bother me.I need to get back to that again ,which recently ,is exactly what I've been doing lately. That's what Florida is all about to me.
