I am wondering about your feelings in serving an owner in this manner. I have only had one true Mistress that I have served for many years. It was our belief that the level of love and intimacy has no equal than a Domme feeding a slave and the slave accepting it adoringly in this manner. Because it is considered such a revolting act. It takes two to love one another deeply to go to this extreme. What do you think?

I believe the same level of extreme love and intimacy can be reached without involving toilet activities. Honestly what you're saying here is that people can't get to that level unless they involve bodily waste in their relationship. Conversely, 2 people that do this don't automatically reach relationship nirvana either.
It all depends on the people.

It might be a bonding activity, but so are many other things too.

I think you two need to get out more if you think eating someone else's shit is the maximum expression of love for someone. Try caring for someone through Alzheimer's. I could name about 60 dozen other things. Heck, just go ahead and make a relationship work (and work well) for a lifetime and I'll gladly rank that over eating shit.

Don't get me wrong. I understand your reasoning. That is the tie which binds... for you. For others, we have our own ties which bind.

I think it's cool that you've found the kink that binds you two together.

It's not something that I do with Master, mostly as it's pretty much at the top of both of our 'no way in hell!' list.

However, we do stuff that others might well find disgusting, horrifying and needlessly dangerous. For us, it's PART of what binds us together. The main thing though is the love and respect we have for each other as people. The kinky stuff is just a minor outward demonstration of the depth of the love we have for each other.

I think you're assigning intimacy to a kinky physical act, which I think is indicative of an issue.

Next, I think if someone truly loved me they wouldn't expose me to the high level of risk involved with eating feces.

Intimacy is what draws me to golden showers, its something I have done only with people I am very very close with. That said, its still an action, what meaning we give that action defines it, not the act.

I think that's precisely it. There are things that we do because being so intimate makes them comfortable, but the intimate part came first. But, we don't use kink or sex acts to prove love or intimacy.

Master put himself between me and a guy with gun. The guy put the gun against Masters forehead. Rather than fighting back (which he's entirely capable of doing), his first concern was to protect me, not to prove how tough he is.

He views his role as my my Master/Dominant/Husband as doing and making decisions that are best for me. He weighs the consequences carefully before doing something that puts me in danger. Regardless of what I'm willing to do for him, the final decision is his and he views me as too special to do something that cannot be done safely.

My thoughts are that there are far more enriching ways in which I serve him, and with
all the modern conveniences at our disposal, he doesn’t anticipate me ever having

I agree with you that those who do partake in the consumption of their partner’s excrement
must be really and truly in love, or it could be that they just have a serious case of martyrdom.

See, that to me isn't about passion and giving the love of my life a gift from the depth of my love for them, it would be a pretty poor gift if what I did in their name caused me to be ill, or in any extreme case, take me away from being there to love them in person.

Passion for someone doesn't necessarily equate doing something dangerous. Would the recipient of your passionate gift be happy with it if it took a negative toll on you somehow? I think not. I think they might be pissed. I would be. Especially if they had to nurse you back to health, or deal with a life that didn't have you in it any longer.
