I will confess to yes, especially in the early days. In My very first scene, the sub got down to underpants but then refused to take them off! I distinctly recall thinking "Great Domme I am, can't even get him naked!" But then I used a bit of quick lateral thinking and instead commanded him to do some leg worship, something We had discussed and I was pretty confident he would enjoy. That went well and after a while I eased his underpants off without protest. In the debrief, he told Me he'd refused because he wasn't yet hard! Then followed a little chat that watching it go from soft to hard was all part of My fun.
Another occasion that I recall was the first time I initiated My formerly vanilla husband into being My sub at his request. It just felt so weird! But I got used to it ...
As a sub, i don't have a crisis of confidence as such, but i do go through a "this is ridiculous, it's hilarious" phase on my way into subspace. Fortunately Master has got used to me cracking up with laughter and regards giggle space as a great indicator that i am on my way there!
