Actually I have been drawn to Doms who had little money and little by way of looks but had a very strong dominant energy....

(Well, I have the "little money" and the "little by way of looks" things pretty much wrapped up...now if I could just get that whole Dom thing figured out...)

The Mind.

The unconsious thing that probably is biggest for me is the way someone smells. If you have a great personality and smell really good i'll melt at your feet *S*

As cliche as it is, follow your heart, because I believe if you follow a rock solid set of rules you might miss out on some wonderful people you might've met living "rule less",

Well, I see plenty of hearts ready to be broken again and again and again...

You have to have standards. Most people want someone with similar values and of a similar (or at least not antithetical) economic status. And that's just for starters.

Love is not the point. Getting along is the point. Once upon a time our marriages and pairings were arranged for us, now we can arrange them for ourselves - but I wouldn't put to much stock in those arrangements made purely out of love. I have loved plenty of people in my time that were not worth staying in a relationship with. Think of it this way: you love your best friend maybe, would you want to be in an intimate relationship with that person though? Often the answer is no, so there are other criteria. Lots of other criteria probably.

I say its a combination of things that changes from person to person. There is no one thing that makes or breaks it excepting something like the deal that Anna Nicole Smith walked into with that old fella. Sadly, money tips the scales always. That may not be smart, but it's what most people do.

My initial draw is to their energy. There is a dominant energy that I am drawn to that has nothing to do with looks and everything to do with their natural dominance. Once I've ascertained that much, I start looking at their behaviors and beliefs. But the first drawing point, for me, is their dominant energy.

sublizzie I am in total agreeance with you here. When I worked at my former employment there was a Gentleman that would come in for lunch and have business meetings, the power I felt from him was overwhelming. Turned out he was a Dom and made sure I always served him *grin*.

You know, when I ordered my "How To Be A World Class Dominate" online study course, I did not recieve any sort of aura or energy doohickey. I did get a decoder ring though......[:-]

Some people like to dominate others are just Dominant big difference to me.
