JakeMcTavish -> Why Hello! :) (6/16/2013 4:32:04 PM)

Hey everybody! I'm Jake, and I'm new here haha

I'm 18, male, straight and 100% submissive. I live in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.

After looking around this site for a bit, I'm actually really surprised I've waited this long to actually get into a site like this, so far I'm REALLY enjoying this community! Super excited to meet some dope people who share similar interests as me.

Thanks!

Welcome to CM and the forums, this side is where discussions take place the other side is where you will find that in which you seek hopefully. I do not wish to dissapoint you but you are looking for a UNICORN among many. Male subs out number Mistress like 100/1 so that narrows your chances big time. Your profile really does not give any of them a reason to even look your way. Also and this is a BIGGY....I would HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU STOP calling people DOPES!!!!!!!!!!!!

My suggestions would be....

1- Your age couldl be a plus but not the way you post.

2- Make your profile one that the Dommes on the other side will want to read. Tell them what your likes are in the vanilla world your enjoyments other than sex. But do not make an all about me profile or all about your D/s likes and dislikes.

3- Head down to the Mistress thread and do some reading and see what they like and are all about. Maybe join in some of the discussions and always be respectful if you do.

4- Do a search on this side ( little button up there on top ^^^^ on the right hand side) and see how others sub have wrote their profiles or look at some on the other side to get some ideas.

5- Never post nude pics.....women tend to dislike them. They like action pics of you doing things like maybe boating, skiing, things along those lines. Things you are into not related to D/s.

These are just a few suggestions and some helpful advice. Its nice to have you join us here on the forums and hopefully you will stick around and join in on some of the discussions. Do beware some peeps are super kewl on this side and some not so kewl. Have a thick skin and you will do fine. Hope you enjoy your time here.

*Chuckle*

Jake, the term "dope" is not universally recognized as "cool" by many of us older folks. We speak slightly different dialects.

Welcome to the site.

Ah, thanks for the help. Sorry for rubbing you the wrong way, that was pretty much exactly what I was trying to avoid!

Precisely what DarkSteven said, I meant dope in a good way, never heard it used negatively before, my bad

Thanks for the help, my main goal of joining this community wasn't JUST to find a partner (I mean I'd be ever greatful if I did), but yeah I should have made more clear. I'll totally do what you said with my profile though, I made it in like 5 minutes just to not make me look like an (or I guess not as much of) an idiot, haha

What exactly did you mean by "but not the way you post"? Was it just the "dope" thing? I don't want to come across as immature or something either.
Thanks for your help!

Hello and welcome, and I for one wasn't fazed in the least by the term "dope people". Enjoy the forums, and best of luck in your quest.

I think you will do great here and yes I meant the dope things. [:D] Look forward to you posting some more.
