I want to ask to Masters and Mistress here if they prefere their slaves to be naked during their session or dressed, maybe in latex... and I would know from slaves if they'd prefer to stay dressed or naked while serving... Thanks to everyone who'll answer :)

Since I am submissive to him in and out of the bedroom, a lot of my 'serving' takes place at the grocery store, the pharmacy, the office, the kitchen etc. So mostly just ordinary clothes.

For play time, it really depends. Generally just naked or in lingerie. I can't wear latex, and I'm not a fan of anything restrictive or hot like so many leather outfits can be. Sometimes I might be normally clothed if it's a spontaneous thing. His preference is for simplicity - he prefers little or no make up, hair down, nothing too theatrical in dress. I wouldn't mind dressing up for him though, if that's what he liked best.

Since you said "session" specifically, I'm going to assume that you mean during play.

I happen to be a sadist and I engage in a lot of activities that make clothes not only inappropriate, but can increase risk in some situations. Fire play doesn't particularly work the same way when a person is wearing a shirt. I'm not trying to stick needles through articles of clothing. I'd prefer to see the actual skin when I'm dealing with electrical. Medical play is almost a given.

On My side of things (top) there really isn't a reason for Me to remove any clothing. It doesn't change anything about the safety concerns.

well... as a Master(even if without experience), I have the same idea you have lady Pact... I'd like my slave to stay naked, when we play, and i'd remain dressed... I think that this makes roles more manifest and it is more humiliating for the sub :)

If you had taken the time to read the official Dom Rulebook you would know that Chapter 5 covers clothing requirements.

Seriously though...I dressed however he told me to dress depending on his mood at the moment.

For me, (an owned slave) there is an extra element of 'hot' whenever one of us is clothed and the other nude.
There is something a bit primal to be taken with all your clothes still on, and it is likewise erotic for me to be naked and Him to be dressed.

During an actual play scene, naked is required. I do own and enjoy wearing lingerie -- and he seems to like it, too. He rarely asks for it though.

Like Athena, most of my 'serving' involves good old fashioned housework, running errands, making appointments, and things that require me to be out in the real world.

During a session? Even if it's just a bondage-only session (some peace and quiet for me), I'll want her naked. Starting a session, though, I occasionally prefer her to keep her panties on just so I can have her remove them after her hands are tied behind. Has a way of warming us both up....

Outside of a session and especially at the start of a new relationship, I like to keep her naked around the home at least until I know she's comfortable and accustomed to being that way. Thereafter, I prefer she wear something that provokes without completely masking her natural femininity. In Oz climate, something casual like short-shorts and bikini top or tightish T shirt etc has a way of keeping her under constant surveillance.

I'd be one of those men who likes to look but also appreciates a little mystery about women, even when she's *my* woman anyway. And I hate latex...! lol

It depends on the method of my service and what I am doing. Any impact play I want to feel on my skin. If I'm running errands, neighbors tend to stare if I'm buck naked in the grocery store. If I'm servicing a Domme's hair, please can I wear a shirt? Hair splinters and cuttings itch. Especially if I'm attatching extensions.

I think, Roberto, that this is going to be one of those 'what do you like?' answers.

Some men really like and fetishize lingerie, others don't.

If YOU really like it, then make her wear it. I think you will find some types of play are better naked. But in my mind, this is a 'whatever floats your boat' kind of thing.

Again. It varies. Sometimes I'm in session in public. Simply by holding a door for a Mistress. And sometimes in a private session I'm nude. I might occasionaly wear costumes. It depends on what type of session. I'm sorry if this doesn't answer your question in a way that suits you.

It varies session to session but most commonly the girls/gurls keep their clothing. The boys start out with clothing but tend to end up with it either cut or ripped off.

What I wear or don't depends on my mood and what kind of a session it will be.

I have always liked the power dynamic of a naked slave and a clothed master (me). But I hate clothes so usually I wind up in a long Smoking Jacket only. I do like teddies and French maid outfits tho. And I tend to peal them off during a session like I was peeling an orange. One piece at a time. In the past (with different slaves than wife) when I invited friends over to play with my slave the guys usually stayed mostly dressed while I wore my trusty smoking jacket and shave always wound up nude save for bondage accesories such as cuffs and collar.

Before kids I'd keep a slave naked (my preference) until she got nudist comfy. Then I'd add some clothes that would highlight her orherwise nudity and that seems to add back the spice of the "nudity". Such as a obscene French maid outfit. Now that we have kids we try to remain outwardly vanilla until kids are sleeping. So it's short skirts and no bra or panties type "commands" these days.

Most guy cloths and kink outfits are lame compared to the awesome chick outfits. I've recently "switched" with wife and we were trying a different dynamic. I was always naked. She often wore some sort of clothing. (looks like our experiment is over and she wants her master back. I'm cool with that. It's been fun either way.)

Like the others, it depends on the scene and partner. In most of mine, the girl ends up naked (ever had a spike heel jab you in the leg doing the deed? Messy and makes a weird scar). But others preferred to be totally clothed, usually when we were doing an abduction/hostage/prisoner scene. It depends on if the parties involved intend on fully consumating the encounter or not, really. Not all of my scenes ended up with coitus, for varying reasons.

Leather, latex and fetish outfits look great, but studs, spikes, buckles and zippers all possess sharp edges. Heels look great on a woman as she struts around a room-but they're not so great on the bed (see aforementioned weird scar above). For that matter, if I had a partner who insisted on wearing them throughout (yes it happens), I'd wear my riding chaps out of necessity more than anything else. And then there's the nitty-gritty about maintenance, too.

I don't know about you, but I work up a sweat when I'm doing it, and along with all the other wonderful excretions us greasy naked apes produce, it makes cleaning these items an issue. A lot of the gear you see doesn't respond well to normal laundering, so you have to go over and above to make sure when you open up your toybox it doesn't smell like a high school locker room. That alone can end a scene before it starts.

Part of that problem is that most folks have to keep their extracurricular activities off the radar, thus resulting in their "play clothes" getting stuffed into the padlocked foot locker in the spare room so the kids and the in-laws don't stumble across it. Sorry if I'm rambling a bit here, but what I'm really trying to say here is, less can be more.

Roberto, you've actually selected a fairly low-cost and low-stress avenue. Puppygirl or Human Pet can be nothing more than a pet-store leash and collar, perhaps a set of those costume ears that go on like a hair band. Oh sure, over time you'll start to amass more gear and equipment as your tastes evolve, but to start with, go as simple as you can. Naked works very well for what you want, is what I'm trying to say in a roundabout manner.

First of all, you understand that BDSM and D/s, M/s are not the same thing, right?

You're talking about a session, not D/s, M/s. You're taking a very small slice of WIITWD and using a much broader term to describe it, which is why you're getting answers like Athena's.

The bottom line is find something that makes you and the person you're playing happy and go with it.

(Personally, I don't find it humiliating to be naked when he's not.)
