I find a lot of my libido and ability to orgasm has gone sharply downhill after menopause.

I found exactly the same thing happened to me when you went through menopause.

Thank you both for your response to my query. I understand the allure of control in having

it conjures up someone being in some altered state of consciousness, making them perhaps
more pliable than usual, which would seem to diminish the level of control needed/given,

After further thought, it became much easier for me to appreciate this from a submissive

Its possible and rather simple to do. You can also use it to extend the length and or intensity of the orgasm(s). As well as link them to any kind of triger stimulous.

The word "hypnosis" may be the wrong word to use.

To understand why I say that you need to know a little about the history of hypnosis. It all began with Franz Mesmer (1734-1815); he believed that magnetic poles dictated the humors of the body. He would place his patients in a closed, darkened room with each hand on one of the poles of a powerful (for the time) electromagnet. To make the time pass easier he gave them classical music to listen to. After a while he would enter the room and say, "You're cured!" at which point they would be.

Nowadays we recognize this as a cure for only psycho-somatic symptoms. It was a form of self-hypnosis which was called "mesmerism."

If you are thinking that it is possible to make a woman orgasm by swinging a watch in front of her face and saying, "you are getting very sleepy," well, that's possible, but you are on the wrong track. It is far, far easier to begin by providing physical stimuli and adding a verbal component at the moment of climax. This makes the order to cum associated with the physical stimulus. Kind of like, as mentioned before, Pavlov's dogs.

While my experience is limited to submissive women, I have no doubt that it could be applied to males as well.

HOWEVER (and these are just my hypotheses):

This is only going to work with the submissive (of either gender) who want to please. You run a real risk of completely breaking their ability to orgasm if you use it too often, especially with males, because the lack of pleasing their dom after being drained is going to shame them.

You also run the very real risk of making it impossible for them to cum with any other partner if you split for whatever reason. That will breed resentment.

What you are doing is sublimating the verbal command into physical stimuli. This is not very tricky to do (it's a large part of why masochists get sexual pleasure out of pain) but it is very hard to undo. Messing with people's heads is fun, but risky.

For me, and I am only speaking for myself, there has to be an emotional connection of some sort.. else it doesnt work. I dont see the point behind wanting to "undo" the process.

Ummm... lets see.. I have been "trained" since 2000. Since leaving that relationship, I have been in 3 others. Not sure how "long term" that is in your view. I have been here 5 years. 1 lasted just a few months (sexy Brit fella), one 1 year. one 5 years, and this one, 5 years.

I'm single now but I often massaged my Lady and would give her an orgasm through hypnosis, I would tell her sortly to relax as I massaged ,then mention she could go to sleep if she liked ,after her eyes closed a while I would softly tell her she was getting a little aroused and my hands would by then be on her thighs , i kept talking and would make my voice less soft after a while ,and eventualkly tell her she would be coming on the count of ten. She often did , I also kept her coming for a minute or two ,but she liked screaming and we had folks living on the otherside of the wall,so I didnt get to caqrried away .. She used to acually ask me to hypnotize her after a while as it made her so relaxed , Oh, yeah ,after her orgasm I'd have her go back to sleep ,and give her the suggestion that she would awake in the morning and be very very refreshed and at peace with the world.
If anyone tries this whether you hypnotize your subject or only try ,be sure to wake them up,they can easilly be in a post hypnotic state ,open to suggestions , so count to five ,saying your going to wake up on 5 , "One"your starting to wake up now, "two" your getting more awake now , and so on..
