I think the WWE actually describe their product as 'action soap opera' now, which tells you a great deal about how it should be viewed. That is just WWE though, other promotions focus more on the wrestling. It's a guilty pleasure for sure, but I rather enjoy it. I just wish there was a bit less of it to keep up with, I need to catch up on Spartacus and Walking Dead still!
