He may have made some formidable enemies, and who knows what he was up to that some people would like to prevent the publication off.

Why would his vehicle cross the median?

A tire could have blown or he could have fallen asleep at the wheel, or maybe he was sexting while driving.

People die in accidents every day and no nefarious plot is involved.

That would indicate assassination.

So nobody would suspect that the victim was assassinated.

Well, that sucks. I enjoyed reading his stuff.

As for a single car crash, at 4:25 a.m., my default assumption is that the driver was either drunk/drugged, or fell asleep at the wheel, depending on the individual.

When I was 10 we were on our way to my mother's aunt and uncle's.
One of the tires blew and we hit a concrete barrier.

I am reasonably certain that no one was trying to assassinate my mother or me.

We do not know what actually happened, do we?

Do you think that it is legitimate to extrapolate from your experience to all car crashes? Or could some car crashes have been the result of an assassination?

That's a lousy, unreliable, and overcomplicated, way to do the job, Rule, if that was what someone wanted to do. He was travelling at extremely high speed, and lost control. A loose nut behind the wheel, as some will describe the cause of such accidents. He hit with such force that the engine and transmission left the car, and wound up down the street.

Believe what you will, but he's dead because he was a better writer than driver.

On the contrary: it is extremely efficient. Of the handful that I am aware of they were all successful and nobody - except me - knows that they were assassinations.

That is characteristic of such assassinations.

If it is determined that his tyre exploded, that would just about clinch it.

What foundation of experience do you have with drivers on the road in Los Angeles at that time of the morning, Rule? How many high speed crashes have you witnessed (race events excluded)?

I couldn't tell the make and model of the car from the restricted views in the news report I watched (they had a sheet over the front half), but it was obviously a high performance coupe, possibly a BMW, or an Infiniti. He was driving stupid, and he died stupid. I've seen it happen right in front of me. I hope the impact killed him instantly, rather than more slowly in the fire.

Enjoy your hypothesis, but I'm calling it a night.

No we do not. Unless we were there and saw and heard EVERYTHING, we have no way of knowing.

So what you are saying is you were aware of murders and yet did nothing about it. And now you are bragging about it online. Interesting. So is this supposed to make me think you are mysterious and dangerous, cause that's not what's happening

They also could have been caused by terrorist activity in the rubber factory , targeting Americans who drive, or they could have been caused by angels with spears, or they could have been caused by running over a porcupine and the quills causing a blow out, or they could have been caused by ..............(fill in blank here)

There is a saying in the medical field - if it looks like a horse and acts like a horse, then chances are its a horse - not a zebra. And it seems to me that as an assassination attempt, blowing out a tire is a very unsure way of killing someone.

and for that matter, how many assassination attempts is the OP aware of utilizing a tire blow out? And why would he extrapolate that number to mean that a tire blow out is an assassination attempt? I think the OP is looking at a horse, and seeing a zebra stripped unicorn with three horns and a wand.

4:30 AM? I bet his blood alcohol was way above the legal limit.

10:00 AM maybe there would be reason to speculate although no reason here has been given except the op's feelings of powerlessness causing him to suspect conspiracies everywhere. But at that hour, alcohol is the number one cause.

I dont know much about him- but being the AP had its phones bugged- who ever bugged his phones would know where he was going to go- and could have laid and wait.

Reporters and wistleblowers are terrorists- you know. One congressman was calling it treason on snowden and the reporter.

I think that if you question the status quo- like he did - there is a 60% chance he was suicided off.
