Jeff, I think I'll save the Mods the headache of what I would say about the baggage discussion right now.

We have cats that have been doing the same thing. My little Nermal is leading the pack on this. Sleeps all day and wants to play with Mommy and Daddy at night. We used to play a game called "whiskers". Now we have a game called "let's play with Mommy's face" where she literally uses her paw to "pet" Me. Annoying as hell for an insomniac.


Try a six month old pit bull/lab pup at 3 in the morning, or whenever he wakes up, playing the game "bounce Daddy." I can imagine what the cat patting your face must be like.
