I heard some troubling news and was wondering if anyone heard anything about it....Palatial Mansion in orange county going out of business??? OMG that place ROCKS please tell Me it is not so!!!

Sorry, kitty. The Palatial Mansion did close down.
The news is all over the discussion groups in Southern Cal.
I know someone who went there last Saturday and found the
"closed" signs on the doors.

I was there about two weeks ago, and Chris was fine and invited us to return. Also, the Web site is up and shows no sign of it closing down. There is a note that Palatial Mansion is becoming a private membership club effective December 2005, but that's ancient history by now, of course.

Where did you hear your news? It's quite possible that I simply haven't heard about it, since I don't usually follow the news too closely.

I received this email...It is with much regret that I pass along the news that the Palatial
Mansion, a dungeon formerly located in Placentia, CA, closed its doors
over the past weekend... the associated Yahoo! Groups list was also
deleted...

At this time I have no further information about the circumstances of
the closing...

The Palatial Mansion will be missed... many in the community enjoyed
themselves there over the past year and a half, myself included...

LadyBadgerWhen I spoke to Chris a couple months ago he had just finished redecorating withtons of great new furniture from downtown willie and was excitedas he decided to convert 3 rooms and devote them exclusively to the leathermen...could it be that it is being renovated perhaps and not closed?
