Status: offline 		Only after conversing for at least a week would I ask for such a thing (and it's typically much more than a week).  My reasons behind it are a little different though.

I ask them if they consider themselves to be above average in size, below average in size, or just average in size.  Then I ask them for numbers (this conversation will take place during the first week, usually).  This is mostly some random curiosity, as one of my psych classes had some statistics about what average truely is, and the fact that approximately 65% of men think that they are below average, no matter how big they really are.  It is also partially because I have some serious size issues with anyone above average.  If and when I finally ask for a pic, I request that they put something next to it for a size comparison so that I can see how honest they were with their numbers to begin with.

Beatmehrdr, did you realize the amusement you might generate with this thread? i've enjoyed the variety of responses, both serious and 'are you kidding'. my serious comment will be that She was definitely rushing it.
