It's the latest version ipad. It connects to all other web pages. It connects to CM, but won't let Me sign in. could it be parental control?

Greetings

Yes it could be parental control, I do not have the latest version of ipad so I can not tell you exactly where to find them but it should be in your manual, try to look up security and personal preferences and settings and see if there is a parental control engaged on the tablet, and if so turn it off and see if it works then. You can also see if there is any updates waiting to be installed, sometimes my ipad will act a bit strange and not want to work on some web pages unless I have it properly updated.

I wish you well

That's how I am on here, with my iPad. Not sure, but perhaps you could download a different browser and try.

I'm on an iPad using Safari and I don't have trouble logging on either. I'm sure you already know this, but the sign on is on the left side on the upper 1/4th of the page if that helps at all

Can you be more specific about what problems you are having? As others have mentioned, there shouldn't be any issues with an iPad. Can you describe what happens when you try to log in? Can you log in successfully on devices other than the iPad? Without more detail, it's difficult to say what the problem might be. It's not parental controls, though - Safari on iOS doesn't have any site-specific restriction feature.

Providing that the problem doesn't also affect other devices, my guess would be an issue with a corrupted cookie since the problem is just with the log in process, and not with connecting to the site. If so, deleting the cookie will probably fix it. There are two ways to accomplish this:
  1. Quick and easy, but will remove cookies you might want to keep for other sites:
    a. Go to: Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies and Data.
    b. Confirm Clear Cookies and Data.

  2. More time-consuming, but will leave your other sites undisturbed:
    a. Go to: Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data
    b. Find the entry titled collarme.com. Unfortunately, the table is not sorted alphabetically, but by cookie size, so this will be a bit of a hunt. On my device, the cookie was 0.3 KB, so starting in that range may help.
    c. Once you find the collarme.com entry, remove it by touching: Edit > red disclosure icon by the collarme.com entry > Delete > Done.

Boycott Apple is my suggestion. My daughter in law has an Ipad, and she spends as much time trying to get to websites that are not adult oriented, except in some perverted child protection software.
