Hi folks I am searching for some info for some friends who are not "web literate". They are hoping to find websites or forums dealing with their preferred kink. Which is- They drive out into the mountains and find some isolated woodland. He strips her naked and ties her to a tree, actually she prefers being tied between two trees. Then he takes her clothes and leaves. Leaves her like that. All day. Then come evening he comes back, unties her and gives her clothes back. She gets really hot for this. There is no sex invloved. She says its emotionally intense. Emotionally overwhelming was how she descibed it. They do this a lot. She reckons that over the past 5 years she has spend more than 750 hours tied to a tree naked and alone. Thats not a typo, SEVEN HUNDERED AND FIFTY HOURS. To say they are keen is an understatement. They are presently looking to buy a house, and you can guess the surroundings they are looking in :) I hadnt even heard of this fetish before I met these guys. I would suggest you look at the selfbondage sites about safety issues. I recognise that this isn't selfbd, but once left alone it amounts to the same. An emergency release is a must. Ideally, he should never leave her alone, but just allow her to believe she is.

I can't help you with the forums, but it might help to know that on checklists, her kink is listed as abandonment (in combination with the outdoor and long-term bondage of course). There used to be a yahoo discussion group on long-term captivity (not quite the same thing). Using the proper terms can yield some relevant sites on Google. I used "abandonment bondage bdsm". This is not as rare a kink as you might think. It features in quite a few self-bondage scenarios and much fiction. Alix

1. There should always be a way for a person to free her/himself. Period. With ease. 2. No one should be left completely alone. They can be lead to believe they are alone. 3. No one should be bound for hours, especially in the same position. Get these folks in touch with someone from your local group that can instruct them in safe bondage, please.

This is very unsafe behaviour, an unsafe fetish therefore. The first danger is a blocked circulation, of course. This may result in amputation and even death. The second are rats and other small carnivores. Also there are many birds that will attack the defenseless and for example eat their eyes. Then there are bears, cougars and wolves. Such an abandoned person should never be left alone and always be guarded. I would advise a narrow mesh cage to keep most predators out. If not, then put her at least six meters up a tree, or eight if she is suspended from a branch. Whether or not she is abandoned, at least one other person should know about it and where to find her in case her friend suffers a mishap like an accident or death. Also, she should be sufficiently hydrated and have plenty of drinking water available.

Well how is she tied between the trees? As long as she is given enough slack to be able to flex her muscles and keep limber, then you're good on that count. The chance of damage is unlikely after being kept in a single position over several hours, specially if you do warm-ups and she's used to it...but there's still a possibility which can be easily avoided. And I agree with the others that leaving her completely alone for that long seems like tempting fate for no reason. I'd be ok with you going out of sight, with binoculars and a walkie talkie so you could monitor from afar though.

Ummmm, is it just me or what. If the dom told her he was watching from a safe distance, wouldn't that destroy the thrill. As the thrill is probably coming from the perceived danger of being left in the woods alone and bound. If I were going to do this I certainly wouldn't tell the lady I was going to be close enough to prevent any real danger. Because that would destroy the whole point. As in she wouldn't feel any danger, or very little. I doubt the friend knows everything that is happening and the precautions being taken. So, it may not be anymore dangerous than any other accepted fringe activity people participate in.

It is actually fairly common, for most in fantasy but for a grand few in reality. I am unaware of any websites that cater to it.......it is kind of a solitary thing (yes, intended)

but what if the guy has an accident or something happens and he cant get back to her ? she could be left there for days upon days, how stupid, and what a huge risk. i can see why they do it, my subbie would love that too but there is no way i would ever ever ever endanger her so much. utterly ridiculous. rules of bdsm ? This is something best done in a controlled enviornment-and with firm safety protocols. I have caged girls and left them..But I never do things like leave open flames in the house,or allow smoking......and a key is within reach, but had best not be touched unless the situation is dire.

You totaly read my mind.... what if she gets in trouble.... there are many things that can happen in this isnt totaly safe if in fact he is just leaveing her and not really watching or if she doesnt have a way to get out of the situation.... also they should probubly leave a blanket near by in case she needs to release herself so she doesnt have to go naked!!! then again this isnt what the thread was about!! sorry just conserned!!
