Status: offline 		I imagine many people are stunned by the magnitude of shooting someone at close range, especially for the first time. And, I personally have felt the need to pace when I was shedding adrenaline.

Then: I do not find it odd that he got up after that and started to pace to walk off the adrenalin.

I OBJECT. Assumes facts NOT IN EVIDENCE. ( Check the evidence admitted IN THE TRIAL. That assertion of Zimmerman's has never been MADE AT TRIAL. And every time Mark O'Mara tried to suggest it, BLDR had the Judge slap him down, eventually leading to a conference about how O'Mara needed to establish a whole lot of groundwork before asking a question predicated on that. O'Mare then had nothing much to ask and they excused the witness.

So, why doesn't everyone stop making an assertion which isn't relevant to the trial.

Status: offline 		Actually, the prosecution, in what everyone seems to think was a huge tactical mistake, played for the jury Zimmerman's initial interview. Which means that, yeah, he got his side of the story (as above, pretty much) without being subjected to cross-examination.

It is only not relevant if you are of the why waste time with a trial just hang him crowd, otherwise it is the central point to the whole matter.

Status: offline 		"Zimmerman's Claims" is not evidence in a trial. There's a difference, and if someone doesn't know what it is, perhaps they're not qualified to participate in a meaningful way in this discussion.

Well, George Zimmerman had a whole lot of decision points where he made a choice which lead to him killing Trayvon Martin, so I'm not seeing how that works him not wanting Trayvon Martin to die after killing him.

Remember, It's Trayvon who stops screaming when the gunshot happens. That's because he's instantly dead.

"You hear that voice in the background? That's you. You hear yourself?" asked Serino.

"That doesn't even sound like me," said Zimmerman.

I also think that many more criminals ought to be struck dead by lightning.

Testimony is evidence.
His interview with police was just ADMITTED into evidence and includes his description of events.

Yes as Martin jumped on top of him. It would seem to Zimmerman that Martin was driving his head into the ground. I have stated repeatedly (in other threads) that I see this as a great tragedy, not a crime.

I think many are assuming his injuries means someone repeatedly drove Z's head into the concrete. That's not the injury I see. A fractured skull, a concussion.... those would say that had happened, not two small lacerations and a few bumps.


well thats not absolute, I once slide off the trunk of a car going arox 20 miles an house, landed feet first with my back to the direction of travel, flipped and landed on my head and shoulders then flipped agian and came to a stop, no condusion, no fracture and no stitches...

maybe I was lucky, maybe I have a had head, but the point is the injuries you DEMAND he must have becuse of this is just not factual!

and that just one of the times my head has been bounced of something realllly hard

never once have I ever even gone to a doctor over any of these things

once I had a guy tackle me drove his shoulder into my stomach, wraped his arms around my knees and lifted me and pile dorve me down backwards on a solidly frozen field, rendered me unconsious for a few seconds with out even a scratch on me head

once I was hit about the head with a nightstick three solid blows the third made me see stars not a scratch

ohh and BTW what made the guy stop hitting me was one of my friends yelled, HAROLD, you got your GUN.

possible, maybe even probable, but certianly not required
