here's a suggestion: Don't fucking shoot people if you don't think you'll be a good witness in your own defense. Sorry, yeah. I do think that if you shoot an innocent and kill them you'd better have a damn good explanation. I don't have any sympathy. I don't have any problem sending you to jail for the rest of your life if you don't.

It doesn't matter. The court's precedent, going back to 1952 at least is that PURSUING SOMEONE WHILE ARMED IS IN ITSELF A PROVOCATION, and that removes 'self-defense'. Zimmerman provoked the act, now he needs to show that he satisfies the VERY NARROW requirements for deadly force being the person who provoked the incident. And he can't meet them. That's THE LAW. And the problem here is that a lot of people are busy talking about NOT THE LAW, but things like "who was on top", or "who hit first", which are irrelevant to THE LAW and THE TRIAL. I'm not interested in the internal mindset of someone who's such a pussy they can't even go grocery shopping at target without carrying a gun.

IN THE TRIAL, THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT MARTIN ASSAULTED ZIMMERMAN. As far as the Jury is concerned, it's a non-event. So why are you wasting everyone's time going around and around about it? Get over yourself and stick to the facts in evidence in the trial. Because nothing else matters and you're just wasting everyone's time which could be used for a more useful discussion....

Maybe it's the 'pep pills' he takes that made him make all the bad decisions. And since the fight itself is irrelevant to the legal proceedings, maybe he wanted to see it. Remember, Zimmerman TRAINED at a mixed-martial arts gym. Posting form critique videos is part-and-parcel with people who work-out seriously. It doesn't have any bearing on Zimmerman's provovative act, and his failure to meet the requirements for deadly force subsequent to that.

Zimmerman is a hick with a gun. He deserves the death penalty after...he has been stalked and scared shitless. He enjoyed it with the kid...fear and then executing him. Let the USA do just as Zimmerman enjoyed doing it.
