MakeYouTremble -> Besides toys, what's in YOUR toy bag? (6/26/2013 2:21:41 PM)

So, my toy bag is getting pretty full, to the point where I either need a bigger bag or just more bags. :)

And that's got me wondering what else I need to put in those bags. For instance, other than the ropes, clamps, vibes, other miscellaneous toys what are the essential items?

So far my "extra" stock is pretty limited:
-EMT shears
-Condoms (those these might count as toys ;) )

Extra items might not be purely safety related, but I'm curious what others carry with them.

Some context: In the past I've normally played mostly at my home. However, I'm now involved in a relationship where I expect to travel quite a bit to her house. (Yay for Amtrak!) A more portable play kit is desirable.

Thanks all!

I keep caramel candy squares in mine. Just a small amount for soothing the psyche after hard play. And a bottle of water with one of those packets of flavoring.

Well I would have a toy bag for each TYPE of play, like in a needle kit you need a drop cloth and a lot of first aid stuff, depending on the scene you might need more.

If you are playing with rope then something to cut the rope with is of corse needed.

If you are playing with insurtables, then lube

And so on.

Personally the way I am set up I have smaller minnie kits for different type of play and a big bag that everything goes in when I want it all. The carry on bags with the rollers and a nice handle work pretty good.

Last year, I had my entire collection of toys and implements collected over almost 20 years stolen. Broke my heart, a lot of good energy was lost and in some ways some interest in using them although I am sure with the right woman that might change.

A soft chenile blanket for aftercare, teeny tiny clothespins, a peacock feather fan, and the usual.

First aid kit with burn cream and suture kits.
My cards with lifestyle contact info.

Bummer!
I had the same thing happen to me one xmas season when someone busted into my trunk and took my bag. There were so many things! [:(]
When I was ready to buy again I sought out only those toys I knew I would not want to be without. Now my bag is fabulous. It is stocked with things I love and things I hate that I love. And like the posters above me each has its own bag within my case of perversions.
I always forget about something soft.

Chocolate, scissors, torch, hairbrush (though also could be used as a toy), latex polish, a drink.

I am one of those folks who has separate kits for various types of play. Best needle play kit in the entire world is a huge tackle box with various compartments. As the wax play has become more extensive, I literally have several rectangular boxes for candles and such. The fire play/cupping box is separate. You get the drift.

I'm probably going to miss some things, but here's some of the stuff that I don't consider "toys".

First aid kit - Band-aids, aspirin, motrin, yadda, yadda......

Latex gloves

Paintbrushes (They are for wax play)

Stencils (wax)

Aloe Vera (I forget the brand. It's in case of burns specifically for fire play)

Long reach lighters

Ribbon (Used for needle corsets.)

Stickers (Used for decorating the hubs of needles)

Medical staple remover (It's no fun by itself)

Lube

Condoms (Of course)

A large flat plate (To put lit candles on)

Bottle caps (The 101 easiest way to fire cupping)

Long stemmed Q-tips (Same)

Bug spray (Hey, I live in Alaska, ok?)

And every chick's favorite..........

A pair of flats for after the boots come off!

personally for me, I would give up all toys for nothing more than his hands and lips and breath and brain, etc....

Back when I still had the soap company....

I was in CostCo.

They had the least expensive high grade olive oil....

I had 3 - 5 litre bottles of olive oil, 1 - 5lb bag of Ghiradelli Chocolate Chips because Master asked me to make cookies for his employees. A blue plastic tarp to cover the Baja Bug and 3 bottles of wine.

The cashier looked up and said "Looks like a good night" and I turned beet red.

MistressDarkArt -> RE: Besides toys, what's in YOUR toy bag? (6/26/2013 7:56:50 PM)

Along with an extensive first-aid kit: flashlight, hot/cold packs, tylenol, motrin, bactrim and nitrofurantoin tablets, 90% rubbing alcohol, small bottle each of bleach and antibacterial soap, baby wipes, hand towels, clean wash cloths, latex and vinyl gloves and finger cots, a lighter, charger for the 312 and 232, electrodes of every stripe, condoms, dental dams, reading glasses for close up work, water and packaged protein drinks, dark chocolate-covered coffee beans and a bunch of scary medical implements.

There's so much stuff to schlep I just have the boys come here. Much easier, and I usually order a pizza with the boy 'cuz doin' people is hard, hungry work!

DaddySatyr -> RE: Besides toys, what's in YOUR toy bag? (6/26/2013 8:01:49 PM)

Soucher kit, road flares, guitar tuners, Ace© Bandages, Bandaids©, cookie trays, and a cork screw.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

What? You've never seen a body bag? [:D]

MasterCaneman -> RE: Besides toys, what's in YOUR toy bag? (6/26/2013 8:21:44 PM)

Spare handcuff keys, pick set, cable ties, compression bandage, bandage scissors, tube of vaseline, lighter & matches, and super glue (works great at sticking torn flesh together), and individually wrapped nail polish remover wipes (for the super glue), pack of rubber gloves, and a rigger's pick. Hell, if I got pulled over, along with my "normal" toys, the cops would have a field day...

Wow, lots of great replies here! I'm definitely seeing a few items that I need to add!

And yes, multiple bags for different setups are looking more likely now.

Thanks and keep the great info coming. :)
