Oh, that explains it all. About 3 wks ago, all of a sudden I couldn't access lots of my old sites and the Flash Player update thing came on. I loaded and installed it., but it didn't work. Kept saying it worked, but it didn't work. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, again and again. No matter how many times I tried to do that and re-install the new version, it wouldn't work.

I finally gave up. Between being so ill and not being techie minded, it was more than I could handle. Why in God's name does so much computer crap have to be so hard?

Haha, you had me thinking there was one for a sec...
Yer I was feeling mischievous and put those three buttons in to mess with people, but I was half thinking no one would notice!
There are no "Real Doms", "Real Subs" or "VIP" areas... But there should be! The next time someone started whining about fakes, They could just be directed to the "Real" sections and problem solved.[8D]

The items in the navigation list for which display is dependent on the presence of Flash are "Chatrooms," "Classic Videochat," "Audio Greeting," "Video Greeting," and "Games." If the site doesn't detect Flash support in your browser, you won't see any of them.

As a quick and easy fix, if you really want access to the chat features, you might try installing Google Chrome until you can get some help with your Flash issue. Chrome includes its own integrated version of Flash, so it should work even if your main Flash install is corrupt.

Shallow, I'm a bit wary about changing things, when it comes to computers, seeing as how there's so much I don't understand and am intimidated by. If I change to this google chrome you mention, what will it change? What will I do if it changes something I didn't want, or expect, it to change? How will I change it back?

Between my ignorance of this stuff, and feeling so poorly, it doesn't take much to knock me off my mark these days.

I run Google Chrome. It wont change anything on your pc... its just another browser that you can pull up whenever you want too.

You can still use your old browser to run all your other programs. But you might find that Chrome works better for those as well.

I do a google search for google chrome
I get there and download it

Will the new chrome browser replace my old one, or will they both be there?
The browsers are the things on the top where the http://www.collarchat.com is, yes?
If I decide I don't like it, how will I get it to go away, and not affect anything else?

its a separate browser dusky, you will have a seperate desktop icon for it

Which means the icon will be on the bottom where my internet explore button is, and I can choose to use it or not, Aries?
And then if I want to get rid of it, go to control panel and uninstall?

Yer you shouldn't have a problem with it Dusky, It's a really basic setup, pretty much the same as internet explorer, and it shouldn't effect anything if you want to uninstall it.
