ORIGINAL: tazzygirl ~FR Paul Rand.... Kentucky "This is a conundrum, and it gets back to what you were saying …whether or not churches should decide this," Paul said. "And it is difficult, because if we have no laws on this, people take it to one extension further. Does it have to be humans?" I wonder how many of these stupid fucks don't understand that marriage is a contract and only HUMANS who are of legal age and of sound mind may enter into a contract. If it weren't a contract, then why does it require a court order to dissolve one? Yeah really! Who ever met an 18 year old goat? Unfortunately, Rand is correct. It's like when a newb asks: "Does anyone here ...?" The answer is always: "Yes!" because someone does. There was a guy, some years ago that wanted permission to marry his horse. I know it went to court and I'm not sure but I think it was allowed. So, there are people that take it to the Nth °. Obviously, that's unacceptable. I, for one, would like to see just about all restrictions removed and I'd like to see the government completely out of the "marriage game". I don't want them defining "love". I guess, to be fair, it would be okay (to me) if they were to ill-define it to some degree. I think we could legislate against bestiality and incest, pretty easily but that's only because a vast majority of us feel it's wrong. Yeah, Rand is, technically, correct as it's already happened, before. Peace and comfort, Michael Does that mean the horse say if it 'accidentally' threw its 'husband' and killed him, would [it] get the house and all of his assets ? Oh and to amend. further, the repubs would do well to compose an amend for term limits for the federal courts. This is one more place I totally disagree with the founders. If we logically do not need lifetime senators and presidents, then why lifetime jobs for federal judges ? Why would judges be anymore susceptible to chicanery than our other reps in govt. ?
