I felt extremely disturbed reading the news article about what's taking place in Los Angeles. I still feel disturbed. I'm not posting this to debate but to share what is happening with our American children.

No offense, but given the source of the article I find it hard to believe all of the facts are being presented.
And quite honestly, the comparison to Hitler is a tired one.
This probably belongs more in P&R.

Given the source of the story, I would use the term BULLSHIT to describe the article.

Now considering that Nazism is a form of fascism which is an ultra conservative political stand, they really need to go back to high school and retake history.

No offense taken. I was just sharing a piece of news that I felt important. I vacillated in my mind where to post it, in this section or P&R, but felt that since I wasn't posting to start a debate with anyone I would put the post here. I just wanted to share.

Considering its the largest school district in CA, and the second largest in the US, Im willing to bet there are many students who do not have English speaking parents, who are below poverty level

Two resolutions will be introduced during a special meeting Tuesday, laying out conflicting strategies for how to serve a district where 80 percent of students live in poverty and nearly 30 percent are learning English.

Now, honestly, wouldnt it be better to have them getting some kind of insurance instead of being on the dole for their health care?

I remember my teachers having us take things home all the time to explain to our families... illnesses.. needs for shots.. upcoming school board plans.... this is no different. To call this "indoctrination" is a bit far reaching.

What you are reading is a backlash against Obamacare because conservatives do not like Obamacare....lol... they will soon come to hate the fact that they gave it that name.

Your first tip off as to the agenda is the name of the site itself....

Sold is a good word though to get the American capitalists attention but given that most people refuse to acknowledge that once again...the Nazis used nationalist socialism to gain power.

Once in power the leaders as in say...our leaders, became a very wealthy capitalist fascists...stealing everything (Jewish businesses too) that wasn't too hot.

That's why Mussolini's Italy (the originator of such fascism) was soon a partner in their crimes against their own peoples.

I don't even like those "PSAs" (Public Service Announcements) "suggesting" that we do or not do certain things.
Like it or not when you hear of "government indoctrinating children" the Hitler Youth Corps is the first thing that comes to mind, not the Boy Scouts or the Girl Scouts.
As I've said in here many times it's not *our* government's job to try to *tell* The People what to do.
It's the government's job to *SERVE* the people!
I guess President Pantload never took Civics in school.
Do they even teach "Civics" in Indonesia?
