Sounds like more sour grapes.

All forms of media with examiner in the title are asswipe. Not a credible statement of fact. Not a credible citation.

Laughing - keep your head in the sand.

Europe - which 10 years ago was at the forefront of the green energy movement is retrenching because of their experiences. Green energy is a disaster.
The simple facts are that green technology (such as solar and wind) is three times more expensive and unreliable.

Spain found that green energy was a job killer.
Germany found that cloudy days caused massive instabilities in the power grid. Germany had numerous instances where industrial plants suffered catastrophic damage when power grids collapsed. Two of Germany's biggest companies are exiting. They have had numerous instances like solyndra, First energy.

Yeah, unciteable asswipe. The anecdotal and untutored opines of talking nutsuckers in blogs are not synecdoches, they are (at most and only when credibly cited) anecdotes.

Got any cites for that?
The way we work here is we offer sources as evidence we didn't make things up.

Nobody noticed that BP has also dumped it's solar investments to the tune of millions (maybe billions) of dollars? You know, if we'd give businesses more incentives to design and implement carbon capturing systems while pushing them in that direction all this back and forth bitching would disappear.

http://www.spiegel.de/international/germany/instability-in-power-grid-comes-at-high-cost-for-german-industry-a-850419.html

Or this article - http://www.instituteforenergyresearch.org/2013/01/23/germanys-green-energy-destabilizing-electric-grids/

Or this one - concerns spain's renewable energy program where every 4 green energy jobs cost 9 jobs:
http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/finance/2011/november/spains-green-disaster-a-lesson-for-america/

Or this one: http://seattletimes.com/html/opinion/2009385016_will26.html

Spain is the nation that spent more money (at that time) persuing green energy. And the result was "colossal failure. Boondoggle. Disaster"

Or here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cost_of_electricity_by_source
Now these are the figures drawn from the DOE that were normalized. Yet even with 'cooked' figures, solar is 2.5 times as expensive - or 5 times in the case of the molten salt systems someone asked about.

Or here - where it says that Europe is backtreading on green, declaring that shale energy is green, walking away from carbon emissions in britain, and unduoing subsidies in germany.... http://toryaardvark.com/2012/05/30/green-energy-is-dead-in-spain/

Do a little googling - you'll find hundreds more.

Not to mention, deadly.

Scores of twitchers flocked to the Outer Hebrides to see a bird that has been recorded just eight times previously in the UK in nearly 170 years - only to see it slain by a wind turbine.

The White-throated Needletail - the world's fastest flying bird - was thousands of miles off course after turning up at Tarbert on the Isle of Harris.
