I've read it in the Bible before that says 'Wives must submit to their Husbands" but where does it say "Husbands submit to their Wives"? I consider myself to be spiritual, non-religious. I grew up going to Church when I was younger but neither of my parents were hardcore Bible Thumpers. I think they wanted me to go to Church to learn some "values", which I do get. But beyond being a good member of society and doing the next right thing, I can't relate to a lot of the Bible. The biggest issue of all for me is submission.Does it say anywhere in the bible that says its okay for a man to submit to his Wife? Because from all I have seen, it says its perfectly fine for a Wife to submit to her Husband. In fact, that seems to be a rule in the Bible.

I don't consult the bible for advice on BDSM. I just don't.

I don't consult the bible for BDSM advice either. I just wanted to see if anyone actually had a real response. Thus why I don't take this book that serious. Makes some good stories and examples to live by but beyond that, that's all it is to me.

How about in the Bible (Book of Judges in the Old Testament) where Delilah seduces Samson into letting her tie him up as part of their sexual foreplay, and then, eventually she gets him so tied up that his muscle-body-builder body cannot break free; and then the guys come and they SHAVE his entire body (yes, pubes & ass too) while she watches. Then they enslave him, and, instead of releasing his masculine energy through orgasms, he is forced to release his masculine energy through the hard labor of pulling the heavy grinding wheel. He is displayed so publicly, totally naked, until his hair grows back (they should have kept shaving him).
Also, where you are quoting St. paul that wives are commanded to obey their husbands, the command for the husbands is to LOVE their wives. Nobody focuses on that! The men have the harder role: to love. It is easy to obey somebody but NOT easy to love them. The idea is that wives submit to their husbands, and the husbands submit to God (who has cut off their foreskin to show HE owns their cock).
