hi
i was wondering, i need to get my picture taken so i can post it up on the website, but i have no webcam, scanner, or camera phone, what should i do? advice is greatly appreciated.

You can get a picture digitized at any decent camera shop, if you don't have a friend with a scanner.

The photo area of walmart, walgreens, (and many other places) will scan your pics and put it on disk/cd for you.

Webcams are very cheap these days (I see them for 30-40) and they can take still shots as well.

I don't have any of that stuff either, but I do have friends that have digital cameras. Ask around.

Any commercial store that sells disposable cameras and processes film can give you the film on both paper and on CD or floppy disk, usually for a few bucks more. This can then be loaded onto your computer and saved. If you have a more candid or erotic picture in mind, have it taken with a digital camera, load that onto a CD and then onto the computer. The commercial places are not allowed to process the more interesting pics. Good luck - Str8eros

Or, if you have not taken the advice of many here. Just be honest. I don't want you to see my face. I prefer to remain annonymous. Sure it will anger some, but there are some out there that it will not.

One other photo question--

Are there any types of photos (aside ones depicting illegal activities) which collarme will not approve?

I had a photo I -think- wasn't approved, but as it was posted before I revamped my profile, and was just getting re-listed, I'm wondering if that was just a mistake and I should try agin....

Gloria - I notice a lot of people with photos that don't show a face - a torso, a back, tits, ass, legs, whatever - but no face. Seems to me they're no less anonymous.

I wonder why? Granted there are a few wackos who get enraged if you ask 'em the time, but why would this anger any reasonable CM participant?

True they can take a photo of another body part. However, if no cam...none of any kind. You're taking a disposable photo. Taking it of one's breasts and getting it developed may be a bit of an issue. I was going with the question. How do I get one taken? I really don't care to have one taken...so how do I? At least that is the way I read the original question. A lot of people gave a lot of good responses. If the participant doesn't take them up...just be honest. I don't want to share.

For your second question. If I were searching for a Dominant. I know mental goes a long way. However, there must also be some sort of physical attraction. Where I also know I won't truly know until we met face to face. A photo would give me some sort of idea. Collar me is primarily a personals site. People come here wanting to meet partners. So, yes a photo would be important to me.

Collarme will not post a pic of a naked Chinese man eating. But for some reason, a Japanese man is okay.[;)]

Here are some suggestions:
1. Find a friend who does have a webcam, camera phone, or digital camera to take a pic of you and send it to you.
2. Take a pic to Kinko's (or any other place with the capability) and have it scanned into a digital format.
3. Take a pic with a regular camera and send it in to be process and returned in a digital format. Every photo processing business including the "cheapy" mail-in ones have that option nowadays.
