Before the name change, forum threads that degraded to a debate about conspiracy theories were eventually moved to random stupidity. Would it be too much trouble to add a section in casual banter for conspiracy theory discussions? Some of the recent topics in P&R are bordering on some recent conspiracy theories that have been popping up on the CNN facebook group concerning supplying weapons to Syrian rebels that are linked to Al Qaeda, and others.

THe main problem I see(if I am understanding this correctly) is a poster posts something and others think it is not credible and a conspiracy theory. So, in truth, noone would ever START the thread in there, and the mods would have to make that call that is a "conspiracy theory" and put in that area. So the mods would be deciding if a posters thread was c.theory or not, in essence saying their thread/opinion had no value except for jokes? Is that what you meant? If not, Im totally confused and would like clarification of what you said.( I confuse easily sometimes at this hour)[8\|]

No, jlf has been pushing to sequester or otherwise suppress any theory that a conspiracy might exist for many years. He is a government schill. I think he is not paid for this but actually believes it, that everything is OK, as long as his party gets in that is. If not it is all the government's fault. If his party gets in it as all the opposition's fault. And the fact that they play people like violins harping on stupid shit that means NOTHING escapes his view, perpetuating his illusion. We got a broad on FL who is the same way, she obviously works for the government. Very enlightening in her post 1984 views, and alot more severe than. lf I might add. They will all be swept away when my kind gets busy. T

Actually, JLF has been trying to suppress conspiracy theories because he is actually a lizard from Mars. What you see in his avatar is not a human face, but merely a cunningly designed plastic covering. The lizards never managed to get humans' chin areas quite right which is why he has a beard. Most people with beards are actually lizards.

I dont know VAA, I mean I have seen threads start that get turned into some argument about 9/11, or that the Federal Reserve is part of some world bank or some such, FEMA Concentration camps and a number of other issues that have been disproved, debunked or otherwise discredited. It takes away from the actual issue and debate on the real issue becomes impossible. If calling it conspiracy theories is a bad idea, I understand.

I think it may be a bit much for us to expect the Admins to determine if a subject is a real concern or a conspiracy theory.

I recommend to ban jlf1961 for one or more weeks whenever he promotes his "alien-cats-are-taking-over-the-world-conspiracy" or any other of his conspiracy theories.
