In fairness to Mr Murray, he's always been pretty good about describing himself as British - which I guess is an acknowledgement of the support he gets from all across the United Kingdom. I think he'd be irritated, rightly, to be described as "English" though.

If you get a chance to go to Philadelphia and to the Reading Terminal Market, a lot of them have booths there and sell amazingly good food. Studies have been done on them and they have been really helpful in a couple of areas - genetics research (because of the clear lineage and also the tremendous amount of inbreeding amongst the population) and interestingly with foster care.
