There are apps that will let you resize images on your iPad and save the smaller versions to your Camera Roll, from which they will then be available to upload. A couple free options:
- BatchResizer: The interface could be nicer, but it's functional and can resize multiple images with granular control of both image dimensions and compression quality.
- ImageResize: A simpler app with a cleaner interface, but it has fewer options and is not optimized for the iPad's larger screen. A nice feature is that it shows what the file size will be for the settings you have selected (file uploads to Collarchat must be less than 200 KB).
