I don't like obamacare, absolutley hate it, and my sole argument is I don't like to be told what to do, even if it IS good for me, and so many times the argument I get is, well then wjats your better plan, so I ask you, if the whole corperate greed thing is so bad, whats the alturnative to it?
communism and socialism has been tried and failed, democracy according to you here is just lipservice to the people with money, so whats your alturnative to a capitolist run gov't
many people want to tax the dog stuff out of em, but what does that do? does it make them less greedy and share thier wealth? or does it just make em find new and more creative ways to hide thier wealth? usually by moving it out of the country...
I am more in the camp of allow them to get so rich they don't know what to do with all thier money, cause when you get right down to it, there are only three things to do with money, invest it, save it or spend it... and so long as they are doing one of those three things inside the USA I am fine with it!
if they save it, then there is a surplus of money in banks which drives loan rates down, if they invest it then companies use it to expand and possibly hire people, if the spend it so much the better, and I don't care if they are buying gazzilion dollar yatchs with it, just means it time to get into the yatch business, or the yatch repair business or the yatch storage business etc etc etc..
guess in a nutshell I am saying lead, follow, or get out of the way!
and I am not rich ok, I am a plumber, but I'll tell you this, the real meat an taters of my business isn't fixing toilets and faucets, its putting in whole new bathrooms and kitchens.
and I have done a couple bathrooms with working fireplaces in them, and let me tell you this, people like that are only interested in one thing, that is done RIGHT, they don't ask wether its the BEST DEAL they just want it to KICK ASS when you're done! once you're foot is in the door they just say, "how much ok DO IT!"
bottom line, there have always been the rich and poor and as far as I can see there will always be rich and poor,
me I am poor, but instead of calling the rich people jerks and such I am trying to make firends with em and get em to spend some of thier money with ME!
I have never though it was a good idea to tell the people who sign my paychecks I think they are assholes
now that I have ranted and rambled and gone on an on, PLEASEEEE tell me the BETTER IDEA!!
