Things must have changed a lot since I was a teen. Really, Ken? I thought you were better than this kind of stuff. 1) Anti-abortionists around the country have been using the sex education angle for decades. Nothing new there. 2) The article in Mother Jones is trying to compare apples to oranges...and doing a really bad job.

Sex education class (or health class as it was called back in my day) was one of the few places I didn't get hot and bothered. I was fourteen and all you had to do was say the word "girl" and I got half a stiffie... but there are few things that can kill the mood faster than a fat, sweaty, red-faced nun trying to say words like "penis" and "vagina" with a straight face.

If you really can't see the connection I don't know what it would take.

All I understood was that they wanted to put a 20 week cutoff for allowing an abortion. Beyond that, I wasn't paying attention to it. Point taken.
