Since I was only married for 24 hours (on a bet), I'll say about six, maybe seven hours, because that's how long Jeanie and I were stuck in the back seat of a '79 Firebird doing contortions to try to get comfortable. Yeah, that sounds about right. That's the time it takes to drive from Salt Lake to Reno.

5 days. We dated for 5 months before that. His family got a 4 day ahead warning, mine found out two months afterwards. We've got our third anniversary coming up here pretty soon.

11 months. We dated for a month before he proposed, but we had been platonic friends for 3 years prior to dating.

A day. We had been living together for over 2 years before we decided to get to get married the next day. So if I was "engaged", it was for a day.

We were never officially "engaged" as most people would think of it with a ring and everything. We met in spring 2006, I moved in with Him summer of 2007 and we married in spring 2008. So, I guess I'd say we knew we were going to be married about a year before we did. luci

29 days from 1st date, taking her as mine on second date. We were still technically on our second date when we got married. We had a friendly divorce about 8 years later and remain friends and family. 12 years after divorce, we were still dating off and on, had lived together a couple times. She still is and always will be family. She is a good person, just like my current slave is a good person and that is why they get along as best friends.

Dated for about a year, engaged for roughly the same amount of time. We've been married for 12 years. It's funny (sort of) but some of our friends thought it was too quick. But, all of those people had been dating their significant other 5-10 years before they got married...and all of them are also divorced.

If you count the first time he asked me, about four years. If you don't count that, and instead count the begging and pleading I did, then it varies. Technically as soon as he established a date we were getting married on, we were engaged. I believe that puts us around a year's engagement.

Well, we got married last July the 29th. We just celebrated our 15th year anniversary. So 14 years.

Lived together 2 1/2 years, received a ring and was married 6 months later during that 2 1/2 year period of time. Only after saying "marry the cow or no more free milk" So romantic..........lol

My now ex-husband and I met one July and were married that November. I'm not sure when he asked me to marry him - I think it was about six weeks after we met. We were married 18 years.

We met 8 months before we got married. We both figured out very quickly that this was completely right, and knew where we were heading. We were officially engaged for 5 weeks before the wedding. Coming up on eight years now, and currently enjoying the hell out of having a day off together every week.
