I see in the news that Toronto has been hit with some flooding and power outages (boy, do I know what that's like, we we hit a little over a week ago). IIRC Lucylastic lives in Toronto and I noticed that she hasn't posted today. I hope she is okay. If anyone knows, please let the rest of us know. Same for any other Collarme regulars from Toronto or nearby.

Thank you Marc for caring!
As it happens, i got back to toronto this lunchtime, from a ten day visit to the US.
It was a bit of a mess getting back into the city, 300,000 were without power, the police, rescued 1400 passengers from a flooded train, by boat , five or six at a time and,all sorts of floooding in the subways, but i was oblivious, as i was on an overnight bus from Dc. According to my hubby, it missed us completely, but the west end caught the worst. On the subway, there were still a few stations out of service.
Im safe n sound but I hope others affected are getting thru it ok.
Apparently there was more rainfall in 4 hours, than normally falls in the entire month of july.....

Glad to hear your okay. I was just getting ready to leave the computer for several hours and it was kind of bugging me that no one was saying anything.

The power of water is truly awesome, people don't truly appreciate it until it happens to them.

Once again, glad to know you're okay.

Your drain water system is lacking.

We went thru the same thing last month. Count on higher sewer bills- it is coming.
